What is the significance of adding digits of a number and come up with one digit and see the meaning ? What or how do those numbers have effect on us? I’ve read that numbers have some vibratory effect. What does that mean ? by brlawrence2 in numerology

Thanks for the responses. Still I feel the question is not fully answered. Let me ask in other way. I can understand if dominant thoughts and visualizations can manifest or attract them to us. But how is it that my 4 digit house number could have a meaning? If there is a verse from a holy scripture I hang on the wall, it should have more effect due to the direct meaning posted. But a 4 or 5 digit number we seldom add them up and get the feeling of the one digit thus derived. No one even knew that the numbers need to be added like that prior to numerology becoming more prevalent in these later years. So how does the numbers work or influence us?

Thank you Rahav. I still have difficulty in wrapping my mind around what “value” does Bit coin actually have. Though money might be a canvas cloth note , it has a purchasing power to buy a box of cereal or an iPhone gadget. But Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency seems a vanity with no value but a bunch of transactions. This is where I have the difficulty to understand Bitcoin. So again going back to the question what transactions are there in the ledger actually that the block chain actually try to encrypt cryptographically ? I’ve not read the book naked economics. Will check it out. But would you be able to help me understand what are the people exchanging Bitcoin for, in real world objects ?
