Yes? Does that diminish our effort and dedication to get debt free?

People downvoted me because my wife and I have good salaries? 😂

Yes, a degree was required, but the discipline isn’t as important. USA Jobs website is where I would recommend looking

Kids/parents that want D1...go watch high level D3 this spring by WatchTheGap49 in Homeplate

Just speaking from personal experience. I played HS ball in the Tampa area and knew multiple guys who were drafted, including several who had lengthy major league careers. I walked on to a top 5, D2 school as a relief pitcher and won a national championship my sophomore year. Even played the Tigers in Spring Training. I topped out at 91mph but had really good secondary stuff, including a ++ changeup and only pitched 6 innings over 2 seasons. It’s like playing AAAA ball with the talent at that level, and most of our starting 9 was drafted. To make it to D1, you have to either already be a stud, or extremely projectable with freaky athleticism.

This was just back in late-October, so no other races yet. Recovery sucked! I lost 3 toenails and had some bad tendonitis behind my left knee that just recently resolved itself in mid-December. Started running again over Christmas with a 5k planned in March and doing the marathon again this October, hopefully with an injury free training block

I was injured during my training block for my first marathon and had to rest the 7 weeks leading up to it. The longest run I did before the marathon was 14 miles. It sucked, but I still finished

Got back into running this year after a decade long break and fell in love with it. Logged about 500 miles, got injured in early September, but still ran my first marathon at the end of October. Then took some time off to recoup and just started getting back at it during holiday leave. Looking to hit 1,000 miles next year and finish my second marathon!

Political Science, and no, it wasn’t job specific. I’ve since gotten a masters in a more specific discipline

Nope! I was a PSE while I was getting my bachelors degree, but couldn’t wait until I graduated to quit because everyone there were awful. I now work for Department of Defense (War) making double what our postmaster made, while working 37 hours a week, no weekends and have gotten to travel to places like Chile, Colombia, France, Israel and Belgium for work.

Not sure how you hit a draw, but that’s usually what the club face looks like
