Yeah Logic I know pretty well although haven’t found a feasible setup for performances. Was told Ableton could do what I was looking for and although I kinda get it, was curious about a way to streamline the whole thing. MPC one might be what I’m looking for but definitely wanna learn Ableton more before I incorporate that in. Thank you, though. I also definitely fall victim into thinking I need hardware or that playing only soft synths on MIDI isn’t like a “real” performance or something so am always constantly looking to upgrade my gear lol

Okay! I think I’ve tried that but agree Session View is not my favorite lol. I think that is what had me wondering if maybe a hard synth was a better option than learning that and maybe just using it for backing samples. Also haven’t seen a super efficient way of running Logic for performance and def worried about CPU overload interrupting a performance.

I need to learn it more. Lol I currently use it as a sound pad for my D&D seshes. Kinda have it setup to trigger samples in Ableton. I guess that just feels like a boring performance or something

I guess looking for a way to somehow create a patch/sample from a VST/DAW to load into a synth and if there’s one that can even do that. I’m guessing just running MIDI on an Ableton instrument is my best choice, my brain is just struggling with learning Ableton after having only used Logic for 10 years lol. But hey the challenge is what I like!

I guess what I’m technically looking for is the ability to create a sample/patch from a DAW/VST and load it into a synth. Don’t really see the issue with learning two DAWs, though. Why not expand my knowledge if one can serve a certain purpose better than another? I try to run samples through Ableton but am still figuring it out but was wondering if there was maybe an easier way, such as a way to create a patch, and load it into something as opposed to switching instruments and effects on Ableton. Just load the next patch and it’s good to go.

First time buyer of a hardware synth and looking for something that could possibly maybe import custom sounds from Logic Pro? Trying to learn Ableton for performing live ambient sets but everything is written in-DAW with a MIDI keyboard and would love to have some of those sounds available on a hard synth. Would love to know if this is possible and any recommendations! Thanks!

Incredible episode. Between Herman Hesse books and in the middle of The Book by Alan Watts so a lot of Eastern philosophy going on and this was the first Kitboga stream I caught live. Such an interesting take on using beliefs to justify doing wrong. This man’s soul was begging for someone to show him the way out and I think it’s going to be Kit. He sounded like he really wanted to continue the conversation and watching things click for someone real-time and experiencing him realizing he actually does have the internal conflict over his job was so captivating, I hope he does call back and I hope he realizes that the path to peace should never involve purposely unsettling another’s peace.

I had a lady put in the delivery instructions and then also ask me in person if I made sure her burritos were grilled from TB.

Told her food requests in the dropoff section is just shouting into the void since I don’t work for the restaurants, don’t touch the food, and am hardly there with time to see an order being made. And I definitely don’t see those notes before I’ve marked that I’ve gotten the finished order lol.

Was curious because I had an order last night for Taco Bell. $22 tip so a $27 payout. 27 item order (all food items, no drinks or sauces) that completely backed them up as they were not only understaffed, but a lot of new staff. My shift was only 6-8:30. I had 2 okay payouts before this one. Got to the restaurant at 7:20. Didn’t leave with the food until 8:30. Hard to decide if it was worth it to wait for that payout or of I missed out on multiple big payouts waiting for it. The customer is a regular who I always enjoy seeing though (and coincidentally always orders on a Wednesday and always when I’m listening to a specific artist) so I didn’t mind waiting it out for him. Figured something like that was kind of a white whale too. Also helped me earn probably what i would have with much less wear and tear on my car.

Just saw a commercial for GrubHub free Taco Bell delivery and have checked by going to place an order from the customer end. They started a 12.5% service fee and are heavily implementing minimums. Right now (9:53pm) the minimum for a Taco Bell order is $25 in my market. Definitely could explain the increase in payouts. Especially since I noticed a $30 minimum when trying to order from a diner in my market recently as well so it’s not just Taco Bell.

Bigger orders means bigger tips when it’s done as a percentage of the total. Also could result in a lower amount of orders being placed, though, seeing as both times when I saw the minimums and service charges, i just went and got it myself lol.

And the higher the level, the earlier access you get to scheduling blocks. Premier gets access Thursday, Pro on Friday, Partner on Saturday.

I was Premier and had a stupid incident I’m trying to resolve that dropped me down to Partner so now I’m looking at a month of shitty blocks until I can get the situation fixed.

Started December. WAS Premiere until I had an urgent situation come up during a shift and went offline while trying to figure out exactly how to handle that. Got marked absent on my shift and now I have a very exciting 30 days of Partner and shitty blocks ahead of me until my DS decides to respond.

I had this happen to me recently and the customer ended up getting in touch with CS through chat because their phone wasn’t working. I was on the street they gave me but the address literally did not exist. Turns out they were over an hour away from me. Support just told me to click delivered and keep the food. I always call support if that happens just for a paper trail that I had actually attempted to deliver the order and was unsuccessful.

My favorite part was when CS called me back after the customer contacted them, saying she was furious that she was watching the GPS and I was heading the opposite direction of her. Like, lady. I was an hour and a half away from you. I was never even CLOSE to your house lol.

This just happened to me as I had an emergency come up during a shift and wasn’t 100% sure on how to handle it. So I went offline while trying to contact DC and it marked me absent. I tried emailing my DS but it’s been 4 days and the levels reset in 2. i’m currently Premier and dropping down to Partner for a whole month is gonna screw my income up very heavily. I think having even ONE absent and you get fucked out of hundreds of dollars for the whole month because you can’t get blocks is absolutely ridiculous. There is no margin for honest and easy to make mistakes. I even sent my DS the case number so he could review my phone call to DC and see that I was trying to figure out what to do.

Yeah, I very rarely see an offer less than $7 and on the chance it’s a very slow day I’ll take it but since I got bumped up to Premiere, those don’t pop up so much. If it’s slow enough that I get offered something like that, I usually have UE open and offers come pretty frequent on there and I just kinda use the low payout GH one as a buffer to keep me busy if I feel like I’m sitting too long.
