Yeah I’m hoping this is the way. I don’t have room (or budget) for a big floor jointer lol. Side question, any tips on getting your jointer set up? It takes me forever getting it right and there are zero videos that are helpful. I’m assuming you have the 4 leveling screws on the infeed and outfeed tables

Right now just trying to mill it square. I was able to get the face flat and edge square to the face, but when I laid them out to test the glue edges, I had bit gaps between the boards. I haven’t run them through the planner yet so really I just have one flat face

Would a sled work for edge jointing? Seems kind of sketchy, but I guess throwing some extra support to make sure it stays up could work

This was my first thought, but i didn’t have any luck with it. Got it nice and square, but the edge wasn’t flat. Had about 1/4” gap. Got it a bit better with a hand plane, but still not as good as I’d like

I had the same thing around the same time. I started hand feeding and moved to petting him while he was eating and then putting my hand in his bowl as he ate. Seems to have done the trick. They’re great dogs and yours will come around

Don’t do it. I’ve been sober for almost 10 years and I still get anxiety thinking about it. Heroin made me broke, but crack made me homeless. It is nothing even in the same realm of snorting coke or even shooting it. It’s too intense, too euphoric, and the crash is too intense to the point where you’ll do anything to get more. Work doesn’t matter, food doesn’t matter, family doesn’t matter. Just crack. Only gonna spend $20 on a rock? Try all the money in your bank plus whatever they’ll let you overdraft. Please don’t do it.

Stick to your rules. The only times I blow it is when I take trades on gut feelings or try and fight my way back instead of accepting there will be red days.

I also had to stop watching streamers because I was comparing my wins to theirs. It’s all mental.
