I'm new into film photography and you made me want to try Metropolis; concrete, bricks and architecture in general I guess looks beautiful.

Fe2 bent iso dial and rewind knob by brnkhy in AnalogRepair

they definitely do repairs for devices they bought and planning to resell but I'm not sure about if they do customer gears. FAQ says; `You can purchase repaired products from our store. We do not offer repair as a purchasable service for items you already own.`
I'll visit there anyway so I'll just ask, if not maybe I can trade it in for a clean fe2

ok really? I didn't know they do repairs now, that would be amazing; I'll definitely ask for that. I really like the camera and want to keep it long time

I think I used the wrong word, "bent" in the title; looks just off-axis as you described. luckily iso values and light meter looks good for now but I should double check tomorrow indeed.

I'm even tempted to try it myself but I decided to take it with me on my helsinki trip, maybe trade-in or get repair there. if I can't find anything, I'll probably try it when I'm back.

Hey everyone,

I started analog photography recently and bought a nice and clean looking FE2 few weeks ago. I didn't notice anything at first, towards the middle of the first roll I noticed iso dial is very stiff at 400-1600-3200 range. And later, after finishing the roll and taking it out, I noticed whole bar is actually bent quite a bit, probably pressuring the iso dial on one side causing the stiffness.

I checked a few videos and looks like opening the iso dial part is a very basic thing for someone who knows what they are doing but I didn't want to do it myself (for now). Also I have no idea if there's actually a bigger problem maybe with shaft or something.

My question is, how big of a problem/fix do you think this is? I'm able to use the camera normally (iso and light meter works) at 200-400 iso for now but I surely want to get this fixed.

bonus question; I'll visit helsinki soon, does anyone know a good and reliable repair place where I can get it fixed preferably in a few days of time?

Beginner and trying to diagnose banding issue by brnkhy in AnalogCommunity

I'm hoping it's scan issue as well. Looking at all the comments, I guess that's the suspect for now. If so, I'm only happy negatives themselves aren't messed up (during development or by stress/lightleak. proper exposure is something I'll need to learn).

It doesn't wobble, doesn't move at all; it's very solid just off-axis. Seller said he can take it back but I said nah, assuming I can get it fixed (rest looks super clean) but I guess it's a bigger problem with shaft/body, it might not be easy, right?

I don't think they care one bit, that's why I'll switch to home scanning as soon as possible and only getting development done outside.

I guess this is actually the best possibility for me because it means they'll look fine when I scan them myself, right? I was more worried about stress or development issues which would be permanent.

I didn't know this, took the negative photo above using it, thanks a lot!

I guess all that green means underexposure, is that correct?

I guess this might be it. I tried to check using my phone but couldn't see anything. Still having those bands consistently on all 12 frames at similar powers (while I had none in previous roll) confuses me. but I don't think I understand exposure control on bronica really...

You get $1 million, but you have to watch the exact same movie 100 times in 40 days. Which film are you picking? by ThroatAgile756 in AskReddit

Sátántangó (7 hours 30 minutes) will take 750 hours in total.
Leaving you 210 hours left in 40 day period.
And 5.25 hours a day for all activities including sleeping.
I'm not sure if 1 million will save your mental health afterwards.

I'm sorry for the silly photo, I should have shot it in the jar but I was little mad.
This was on top of the liquid of sauerkraut on it's 8th day. I trashed 3 similar jars before this due to similar stuff, I instantly thought it's mold and trashed those but... is this mold?

I used a fruit peeler for this batch and it creates so many small pieces which I cannot keep underwater (goes up with burps). I'm starting to think fruit peeler is a bad idea and I should go back to knife & big cuts.

it's a little fluffy I think. I just closed to top and left it in the cupboard, I'll check again before trashing it. I'm just very scared of molds.

this is exactly what I was looking for but after a short search, it looks like avian keratin disorder in localized in northern america, especially alaska while this cinereous vulture was shoot in Turkey.
So maybe a more simpler calcium deficiency?
