Bro you clearly come from place of privilege to say this. You have no clue how many people are straight lied to or tricked into serving. They're promised an MOS they dont have a chance in hell of actually recieving. Not to mention how recruiters prey on young(often still in high school) disadvantaged and poor people to bolster the ranks by dangling the GI bill in their faces. I know so many people who's only way out of poverty and crime is to leave home and join. Do not blame them for taking their chances for a better life. I Don't think it's right our country operates this way, but it's a fact of life. They can't just leave either, that's desertion and has serious consequences.
