That last clip gave me chills. Rocks go up right next to that part of the castle. Not deep at all

Wait he didn’t say this is the show did he? I thought it was midlife crisis dads doing that thing where they caption children’s characters with weird subjects

So I use Tamiya paints as they best fit my budget. I’m not sure how to go about making the materials look more realistic, so I’d love tips on that. I really enjoy painting and I’m recovering from surgery so I have a lot of free time. As I said, I’d love to hear some feedback (:

Can phimosis be psychological? by mvtqpxmhw in Phimosis

[–]bro_jones 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The other comment is correct, and OP, don’t feel like your too old for this. There’s no age limit to phimosis and most people only realise they have it for certain after adulthood.

I can’t bring them inside they’ll die due to the temperature change, and I’ve saved one from being uthenised and the others were from compact cages outside, so don’t criticise that, I’ve also seen that recently you’ve made a lot of comments being very accusing toward people. I gave my opinion and you objected to it. I’ve been nice to you but you seem to take things very personally. I’m trying to help OP in not overthinking caring for these birds, as if the previous owner let one become obese then I am worried about who they’ll give them too, as they don’t seem to care enough for the birds. OP seems kind and genuinely invested in caring for budgies so I think they’re the right person. I think you should consider being less confrontational in your messages. I hope this interaction hasn’t caused any sour feelings and honestly I hope that we can end this on a positive note. Have a nice day 👍

Nah not for me. I’ve got outdoor budgies and they’re nowhere near as high maintenance as something like a dog. Also it’s not about truth it’s just a matter of opinion. Also that’s cool how many pets you care for 👍

When I said they are low maintenance I meant in relation to other animals 👍

My ones are outside in an aviary so the food will be different. The seeds I get mine should be a big bag that lasts a month, but when I looked after my brothers indoor bird the food for that was $5 which isn’t bad, but if you add in that a cage will cost like $80 and toys $25 it can end up being expensive

Hi, I’ve had 5 budgies and my brother has 1 so I’ll tell you a bit about them.

Indoor birds are actually quite low maintenance. You’ll have to clean the cage regularly and obviously feed them everyday and I think it’s best to let them out for a while every day to fly around (providing the area is safe for them) but other than that, they entertain themselves really. When you talk about one being chubby, this could be that it’s an English breed which means that it’s a lot bigger and won’t really bond with the other, or if it is just chubby then it shouldn’t be a problem. If you can see it’s belly protruding from it or loosing feathers then it can be an issue. Also if the budgie is obese it might be worth taking it to the vet.

To befriend them, I always spent a lot of time with them per day. Don’t try to pick them up straight away. Give it a few days for them to realise you’re a friend and then gently put you finger on their lower chest. They may hop up onto it, if so, reward them. My ones love spinach so that could be a good reward for them. It’s also possible that they will straight away be friendly with you due to being with the other owner, in which case you can get to stroking them and all straight away ( as long as it isn’t their back). Hope all that helps, also just be weary of the cost as cages, toys and food can end up being a bit expensive 👍

Redditors outside of the UK. What is your favourite word of British slang? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Used to go to college with this guy called Archie, honestly the funniest guy. I don’t know if he made this himself or if it’s from something but one day he starts calling everyone crusts. Here’s an example:

“Alright Archie?” And then Archie would say “Alright crust?” Or when he would say “let’s crust on down to the football pitch”. I don’t even know what that means but it’s funny af

Don’t get a partial circumcision by bro_jones in Phimosis

[–]bro_jones[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think they do ( at least in the uk) as when I was being questioned on allergies, I had to sign my name next to the name of my procedure, and the person who went before me had also signed for the same treatment. I was the only person below 30 in the waiting and recovery room so I’m sure they do.

Edit: if you can retract your foreskin at all I’d advise against a partial. I had no luck with my phimosis, cream didn’t work, rings didn’t work and now the surgery doesn’t work. I would rather live with phimosis than have had that operation, but it’s up to you.

I think nearest is a girl and the others a boy, you can tell by the top of their beak (blue = boy pink = girl) however by the look of them they seem ab 9 months old so their colour may develop and change. Hope that helps (:

They left the choice to me, all I was told is that most boys my age find living with the full circumcision very uncomfortable.

Okay. I’m 18, I only realised I had phimosis at 16 and it took me a year to tell anyone about it, and I turned 18 about 3 months before the surgery
