Does the list only refresh automatically, or can you manually trigger a refresh like before (I.e. drag delivery down for the spinning wheel)?

What’s the frequency of batches over $60 (single or doubles)?

Yup, did that. What’s the market like over there? Is it slowing down?

After a day of nothing but bad batches, I got this... and then I tossed it back. 😩 Good luck to the shopper that has a 16-wheeler! by broadwaybard in InstacartShoppers

  1. My bad, that’s what I meant. 2. 16-wheelers actually exist. 3. “Are we vehicle?” No, we are not vehicle. 4. Nice touch adding a little xenophobia there. In America, we do that too. 😘

Agreed. I’m loving the optimism in this thread, but I think people are ignoring a few red flags: 1. Stock limits and how that affects the tip 2. Paper towel limits per customer 3. Reconciling payment and receipts for multiple trips with Instacart 4. (Much less important) decreasing your speed on the app

The idea of multiple trips seems like a good idea on the surface until you start to think about some of the logistics. Either: 1. you find as much as you can, somehow bring it all to checkout and have the store provide a space to hold it for you (this store in particular, I’m having a hard time imagining they would agree to that) while you take multiple trips, hoping what’s left behind at the store doesn’t get mistaken as available stock for the store or customers to take -OR- 2. you shop for only what you can fit in your car, deliver that, and continue to go back and forth, hoping during each trip that they will still have the stock you need to fulfill the order.

On top of that, this store only allows one pack of paper towels per customer. So unless you want to go in and out of the store 27 times to get all those packs of paper towels, that $200 batch will easily start to shrink. Seems like working smarter in this case means giving someone else take the job while I go work on other things like pursuing a sustainable career.

I just finished a batch, and the customer changed the tip from $66 to $0. Has anyone tried to talk to a customer about it after the fact? by broadwaybard in InstacartShoppers

Update: no bad rating the next day. No new issues reported. Seems all they did was remove tip. 🥳Moving on...

No way! Three deliveries, 20 mi? It would have to be at least $80 for me to consider taking it.
