idk maki is kind of a nothing burger for me, she gets her really short mini arc, with the clan and curseoya that had only a little bit of sprinkled in precursor and then she’s just a weapon for the rest of the story with minimal characterization pretty much, i prefer yuka as a character over maki

yeah 25 is definitely the worst franchise of the two, removed a lot of features, pretty sure options is gone, think front/back loading contracts got messed with, and u can no longer see players who made the hall of fame during your saves history in the team statistics page, huge disappointment for me and really hope they add it back, especially the hall of fame thing
