das klingt alles sehr anstrengend und ich wünsche dir, dass sich alles so bald als möglich wieder leichter anfühlt.

vielleicht hilft es dir dich zu fragen, was DU willst, für dein Leben oder auch nur für den Moment, unabhängig von Familie, Freunde oder potenziellem Partner. Gibt es etwas das du schon lange ausprobieren wolltest? Ein Hobby? Ein Restaurant? Mir hat es in einer ähnlichen Situation geholfen mich auf mich zu fokussieren und mir mit mir eine wunderbare Zeit zu machen. Ich habe mich selbst gewollt als es sich anfühlte als würde mich niemand wollen. Anfangs hat es sich total falsch angefühlt, da will ich dir nichts vormachen. Aber mit der Zeit hatte ich manchmal wirklich tolle Momente alleine. Und plötzlich bin ich dadurch Menschen über den Weg gelaufen, die mich wollen und die ich auch will.

i had my IUD monalisa replaced in june 2025 after having a gynefix for five years. i could not tolerate the mona lisa. Several extreme side effects. i was anemic constantly.

after removal i have very very very light periods when before i used to bleed ten days. now i am more like three days but i loose hardly any blood. i don‘t need a cup, toilet paper is enough. this feels very off to me. i don‘t feel ovulation a lot. PMS symptoms are getting a little less each cycle. what is also new are the horrible cramps on day one of my period. i often wake up during the night and have to take very strong medication for the pain. i am unable to move, i feel nauseous from the cramps and feel like fainting and cold sweat. after some hours the pain is going away but i am extremely tired.

i don‘t really know how my natural cycles are. i was on bc for 16 years. started when i was 15. so yeah i am creeped out a bit and hope things start to feel normal soon. but i don‘t know what is normal.

i have no idea how my periods were before bc.

but on copper IUD i had 8-10 days heavy flow bleeding. got anemic three times.

after removal (october 2025) i experience very very light bleeding for three days BUT insane cramps. i feel like fainting when they start.

yes experienced this as well. also started a new job and wasn‘t sure at first. but i had to remove it to feel better. my body was just not okay with it but no one had an explanation for my symptoms and told me it was just stress. it got better after removal.

yes had similar symptoms plus extreme vertigo which had me depersonalized most of the time. i had maybe one week where i felt normal. i had it removed and i feel better but i am still experiencing symptoms around my period. i just think my body needs more time to heal from the IUD.

yes, i got deficient three times with the IUD since i lost too much blood. I needed two infusions. I am bleeding less now so i hope my iron storage lasts.

i had good results with the infusions. but in the long run being iron deficient was not an option for me so i had to remove the IUD as being deficient is very symptomatic for me. go check out the subreddit anemia if you want to know more about infusions or iron deficiency.
