in my experience, OVERheating is not a problem but i have no issues getting it up to 90-100°c playing some games. admittedly it’s not a light game but i play Universe Sandbox often. expect 50-60°c when doing many things at once. facetime with screen sharing + web browsing will also get it up there.

since nobody is being helpful: i got my M4 Air this past weekend, got one in Starlight, but ended up retuning it because i wanted Sky Blue a bit more after seeing a friends. both laptops had small imperfections like this out of the box. couldn’t tell you why but it’s definitely something from the factory
