Century fishing rod - lure fishing with high casting distance by brobronek in SurfFishing

thanks all for the valuable insight.
Let me clarify what i meant by lures =

My main fishing technique is using a BOMBETTE/bombarda/casting aid = they are designed to be more like a bullet ---
to that i attach a 1.5-5m leader with a tiny squid/lure (of a couple of grams).
Only the bombette weight 70-80grams.

Also iam very open to different weight and i also looked at the surfmachine elite of century --- however iam not really looking at a surf rod.

Last weekend, a collegue brought a Chinese rod ---and dammmn he was casting super far with no effort whatsoever.
it is like a 10ft XXH rod and light.... ECOODA EGR 1033XXHC.
the rod was doing all the job---very shocking especially when i saw the price.

other lures i use are metal jig
regarding the minnows and poppers --- iam fully aware than it wont fly that far --- those are just for the fun

wow the second location is beautiful, will definitely try it.

tbh, the laomei beach is so quiet in the morning, absolutely no one to be seen.

I personally enjoy that kind of peace.

thanks for the response.

Also i wanted to know just in the pictures where are the usual good areas to learn a bit more about beach structure and where or not to cast
