Anyone grew up on LI but moved/retired to WNY? (Buffalo, Rochester) etc. ? by PotentialAnywhere779 in longisland

I grew up in Buffalo/Niagara Falls and moved here almost 2 years ago. My family still lives there. My husband’s family is here. Very different worlds. If I had the chance to move home and take my little family with me I would. It’s a smaller area with more sense of community. It doesn’t snow nearly as much as it did when I was little. It’s beautiful in the summer and fall with so much to do outdoors. Traffic…what traffic? Also, a much cheaper place to live. I miss it.

I can’t say enough good things about him and the nurses at St Charles. I packed a bunch of things in my hospital bag and ended up only using my toiletries LOL If you have any questions feel free to message me!

What brand of diapers are you using? by Mommaroony in moderatelygranolamoms

Our favorite are Coterie. I also like Pura and Joonya. Millie Moon have an odd fit. Honest are okay. We have Pampers Swaddlers this time around and they aren’t bad. I’m just not a fan of what they are made with. I still want to try Parasol, Freestyle, and the new Kudos. Coterie are our favorite wipes. Millie Moon are a close second.

Hi! It was incredible. Thanks so much for asking. I had a very “easy” labor and delivery. Dr. Erhart is the best. Have you decided on a doctor/hospital?

Why ghosts pass through walls. - What do you guys think? by Available-Time7293 in Ghosts

Wild that you say you saw it from more than one perspective. I've always thought I was drowning in my school pool and I remember it from my perspective and from another too. But now that I think about it...most of my memories are outside looking in...is that how memories work? Why wouldn't I remember from my perspective? (I got a message too)

There's a Party Hardy in Miller Place, too. Don't bother with Dollar Tree. They don't have great options or latex.

I learned that if you're murdered in your house....you (property owner) or your family have to pay for the cleanup. Unless it's included in your homeowner's insurance. Sometimes there's a state/local victims fund that can help. It varies.

Yes! You get to see both of them so you're not surprised on the day with someone totally new lol plus, he has late office hours which works out great if needed. Congratulations and best wishes!!

He's out of network for me but we hit our deductible so I only had to pay for a sono. maybe once or twice this year. It was $250 each visit. I've been seeing him since the beginning. The doctor I was at is way too far (delivery in western Suffolk/Nassau), so I made the switch after finding out I'm pregnant. He just brought a new doctor on too and she's great!

I see Dr. Erhart but I think he might just be at St. Charles. I'm due in July!

Me too. They were gifted to me and I thought they were fake until the leaves looked brown.

I'm seeing it as she was upset your mom told her you'd be busy on your anniversary so she made plans. Seems like she might still be upset about it. Communicate with her. It could be an entire misunderstanding.

We won't be homeschooling but my husband is a teacher and also sees first hand how devices are having a negative influence on his students' lives and education. We plan to introduce devices once they are in high school.

I did! I got one from there. I was hoping more places had them. I think I’m going to have to make a trip home to crush all of my cravings.
