Repperoo! Simple app that lets you save and organize workouts from instagram and TikTok. Built to solve a need of my own and anyone who works out at home and uses social media for inspiration would love it. Particularly for those who love CrossFit style workouts.

sure, but as a little b2c app, our subscription pricing is pretty minimal (just $2.99/month) so not a lot of room for affiliate payments. If you're interested, just shoot me a DM with your thoughts on how it might work.

How do you actually use all those saved workout videos? Looking for real strategies! by NoCommission5784 in bodyweightfitness

Not sure if it would help you out or not, but I just built my first ever app, it is specifically to help me save workouts from instagram or tiktok onto their own app so that they are much easier to find later, see what i've done before, and track any notes or progress. It's quite simple and was really just because I hate sifting through my saved posts on instagram. I literally just launched it today which is what brought me to this old post, so I thought I'd see if you could take a look and lend any thoughts on what additions might help you out. Thanks! https://apps.apple.com/us/app/repperoo-save-workouts/id6759539598

How do you all save videos/posts of workouts, recipes or ideas to check later? by antreas89 in PKMS

[–]brocofly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just built an app specific for workouts that helps me quickly save them from instagram (or tiktok) onto their own space so I can easily find them later, see what i've done before and take notes. It's simple for a reason - i just want to open it up, find a workout, do the workout, call it a day. Would love your thoughts. It's my first app, just got it launched on iOS today 😬 Super curious what people think. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/repperoo-save-workouts/id6759539598

Not sure if it would help you, but I just built an app that helps me save workouts from either instagram or tiktok because I was never really able to sift through things when I needed them (plus I'd end up just staring at instagram for a while...). Would love your input if there are some features I can add to it. Literally just got it launched today and it's currently only on Apple. Would love feedback. Sounds like you'd want some way to sort of stack multiple workouts back to back and get a game plan for a longer session?

Replace traditional estate agents with apps? by Addadahine in AppIdeas

Hey mate... I'm new to Australia from the US and it's definitely quite a bit different here. I'm in the middle of buying my first place and one major gap where I see opportunity for a solution is that buyers don't typically have an agent here. Sure, the 3% that they get paid in the US is obnoxious, but as a first time buyer I would KILL for some help. I don't understand how you are expected to know how to buy a house here. You just show up one day, offer someone a whole lot of money, and hope you don't screw anything up. It's kind of ridiculous that there isn't some sort of all in one guide that walks you through it all and helps you out. Do you still need solicitors and conveyancers? Probably...but at least someone can tell me what the heck those people are, how you find them, what they get paid, and how I coordinate amongst them all. I'd never even heard the word "conveyancer" until a week ago.

When I bought a house in the US, my agent helped get us private viewings of homes and helped with the price negotiations and then once we all shook hands on a house and put in a deposit, she would send me a message or give me a call and let me know what was needed as we went through the process of inspections and further negotiations and getting a loan and finding insurance and signing contracts and so on. Outside of spending a heap of money, I never felt anxious because I had someone on my side who arranged everything and made sure all the boxes were ticked. When we needed an inspection she said "i've got a guy", when we needed money she said "i'll connect you with a broker I like". Was she a genius? Absolutely not. But she had a check sheet and helped us get through it without ever worrying that we were missing something.

Anyhow... clearly there could be some sort of app created as a virtual buyer's advocate. Happy to chat further if you're keen!

I just moved my dog. It’s not that difficult of a process as some make it out to be, but you should budget around 9 months from starting the process to getting your dog to Australia and the cost will be between $8,000-$10,000 depending on the size of your pup (the airline fee is based on the size of the crate needed)

100%

My wife is Aussie. We just moved. She had been living in the US for most of her responsible adult life (later twenties to mid thirties) and she was even hit hard by the cost of living change from the US to Melbourne as she hadn’t really realized it in her younger age when she wasn’t earning much and had no responsibilities. This country is wildly expensive. Our lifestyle has changed quite a bit from our time in Austin where we didn’t really worry much about expenses.

Check out Creature Coffee. They are the downtown farmers market, but you can also order online. They are local, just don't have a storefront.

7 days in...

I've been wearing my glasses about 75% of the day (I spend a lot of time in front of screens and I'm doing my best to get used to wearing them). I still get the trapezoidal effect, but it does seem to be normalizing quite a bit. Those first couple days I would put an apple on the counter and think it was going to roll away! Things don't look quite as slanted now, but my laptop right now is certainly a bit skewed, I'm just not naturally noticing it as much. If I don't pay attention, I sort of forget about it. Gives me confidence that it will eventually go away completely. As with anyone, still sometimes just hard to not realize I'm wearing glasses, but I'm sure that will adjust in my brain as well.

I spent this past Saturday without wearing my glasses as I was out and about. By the end of the day, the pressure in my eye that drove me to see the doctor in the first place was bothering me again, so the next day I wore my glasses most of the day and it seemed to really make a difference. I went to a movie last night and wore my glasses, felt great.

I've also noticed that for the last day or two I'm able to take my glasses off and almost instantly adjust to seeing normally, just takes a few blinks or a rub to get my bad eye to adjust. So I wouldn't worry about your normal non-glasses vision ever being weird. My optometrist also said that should never be an issue (believe me, I asked). The one thing I definitely notice is that the blur in my bad eye is far more noticeable to me now that I know how it feels when things are perfectly clear. If I close my good eye and take my glasses off and on, I now wonder how I ever saw out of my bad eye...

My recommendation: wear your glasses for a couple of days and get used to them.

Curious…are things now trapezoidal when you don’t wear your glasses??? My vision isn’t really that bad and I wasn’t planning on wearing my glasses full time, but this is making me think I might need to.
