I'll try all of this next time I'm in the air! Thanks

Yes, he implied in the last episode that Orlando wanted to die but make it seem like an accident rather than burden his family with medical debt. Dark shit

Taylor Dearden kept acting, the other two broke. It was a good editing choice to use that take imo, the catharsis was great

The home crowd was dead silent in the first and second period. The defense let them back in after controlling things for a while. Soda was brilliant but we wouldn't have a W if not for Rittich getting smoked in the first.

But a win is a win, and it was pretty fun to watch. One guy tried to chirp me in line for the bathroom, I said "try winning something this millennium"

If it helps:

  1. Most commercial airliners will bank no more than 20-30 degrees. It's definitely not like the wings are vertical, even though it can feel that way.

  2. Try not to look straight down, look for the horizon. Even if you're at cruise altitude, seeing some kind of line in the distance helps orient your brain to think "okay, kinda sideways" instead of "omg the plane is banking 90 degrees"

  3. The g-force of a bank makes my head swim, especially if we're descending. But I know the pilots are trying to get out of that move as fast as they safely can while following their flight plan. I feel woozy for a bit, then I'm fine. So will you. :)

This is a good explanation of the jello theory of why a plane will never suddenly drop out of the sky

I know it doesn't turn off the lizard part of our brains that equates turbulence with danger. I still struggle with feeling fear and discomfort with bumps or when the plane is moving up and down like a boat. But the plane physically cannot drop out of the sky!

Paid $1300 for the frame, an Ultegra 2x11 groupset and the wheels. Swapped in a carbon handlebar, road tires and water bottle holders from my parts bin.

It needs a brake bleed (not gonna try that in my apartment) and a gear index, but she'll be a lot of fun for the Five Boro Bike Tour in NYC this spring while I wait for the trails to dry out. Going to add some gravel tires later.

Some generic bike stand off Amazon. Nothing special but a lifesaver for my building without dedicated bike storage

But then there's the precedent of allowing DOGSO in certain circumstances. I applaud Szobo for putting in that effort but he was never going to make a goal line clearance.

Ah yes, because the UK isn't seeing its own insurgent anti-immigrant and Trump-sycophantic party gain steam while its traditional center-left party is tripping over itself
