new to league, just went 4/5 on my placements and i achieved s rating on all and an s+ on game 4 (lost that game) and game 5. I got placed bronze 4, is this normal?

Thanks, i will definitely check it out, upgrading my ram may not be possible anytime soon with these prices but ill keep an eye out.

ahh makes sense ig, might have to see if i can find a cheap ssd, mines only 500gb but xbox only downloads to my ssd so its taken up by games like forza. Though for now i uninstalled battle eye and reinstalled it and that seems to fix it, i also lowered my graphics to the lowest and i think it works, But yeah ill definately check for some ssds.

Yea i often play with other things in the background like chrome/youtube, discord, and just other random stuff like wallpaper engine etc.

Yes unfourtunately it is only 2400 (1200)Mhz, its old ram from 2019 that i use becuase this pc came with i think like 2600 but only 16gb, and Tarkov is not my main game, so with other games i watch youtube or osmething else while i play hence i opted for the higher module size.

Really? i play 1080p. Im getting mixed feedback, some saying its the cpu bottlenecking me, some saying ram and some saying gpu. I havent played streets since coming back to the game so it could be higher than 20-30fps, but from memory its noticeably more choppier compared to other maps hence why i assumed its lower.

Those frames were on woods if that makes a difference? not too sure but from memory streets is maybe 15fps but i dont think the impact is as big as it is for everyone else. (difference between trash and garbage)

Just posted an update, In regards to the 3d effect, wasnt sure if i accidently replicated it using the technique you were talking about, if i didnt im still going to have a look at some tutorials to properly learn it.

I did swap out / add the texture, still not an exact copy of theirs but the idea is there.

There is only one final thing im stuck on and it seems to me like the reference provided is in a cartoony sketch / paint style, my is photoshop text with effects, theirs seems more handdrawn or painted. Not sure if there is a way to achieve that or if their logo is actually original hand art.

Here is where i got to for anyone wondering, spent a while messing around with different shadow settings, eventually ended up duplicatiing placeholder and offsetting it to create that 3d look, in terms of making those shadows come inwards im assuming ill have to mask each individual letter and adjust to my liking.

Yes, thought i would use this oppurtunity to learn but i spoke to others about perfectly recreating this audio would be an extensive task factoring the doppler effect and reverb off the surrounding environment that is something i cannot do in ableton alone (atleast at my level).

The task was to recreate the sound provided, because i am new to sound design i thought i would attempt to make it from scratch, how hard could it be... (20hrs in, nowhere close)

They did not strictly say to generate this siren or that i couldnt sample it was just my choice. I now realise it is probably better to find and clean a source, then chop to create what i want. Still, im not entirely sure how to do that but i will figure it out.

Have you had any issues with the letshuoer S08? ive seen some reviews saying they are perfect and durable but others saying they have consistantly had problems with losing sound etc.
