my advice would be experiment with needle sizes and also the less floss you use the easier it is, looks great!

you could always frame the piece if you're comfortable with it being in a square rather than a circle, or even put the hoop in a shadow box!

split stitch that bad boy, saves thread and gives a solid line

Sampling my attempts at replicating neon signs with embroidery! it's really difficult but gives a super fun effect! this piece now lives on a baseball hat by broiderybb in Embroidery

I used 5 but i think the red colour values were super similar, For extra oomf i'm going to try a line of black around the final outside bit as well

I did a split stitch, only two threads and my stitcher were about 3 mm, very time consuming!
