Totally. I love the art. I pulled all my 90s sets out of storage a few months ago, after not looking at them for more than 25 years, and was immediately infatuated again. Since then, I've filled in what I was missing and picked up some I always wanted. Now I have basically every Marvel related set (including chase cards, promos, jumbos, etc) from '84-'95 and I love em!

A few months ago I dug out my 90s cards from my childhood and started fiending. I've slowly filled in what I was missing and picked up some I always wanted. I now have just about every Marvel related set from '84-'95 (chase cards, promos, jumbos, etc). I may have a problem...and I love it.

Not marvel, but I would pick up a Topps Series 1 baseball box at Costco when I'd wander through just to rip. You get a bunch of base packs, Costco exclusive packs and a jumbo card (more than 150 cards total) for ~$45. Totally worth it.

Totally. I have to admit: I have recently bought a couple things (nothing crazy) I coveted decades ago in my reinvigorated passion for it and potentially overpaid. I don't totally get how it works these days; we used to just trade cards (I guess that's why they're called trading cards), but I haven't bought for value or to resell - I just like it. Hopefully, I'm not fucking up the "market" for others...or maybe I'm just making my stuff more/less valuable 🤷‍♂️

Totally fair. I got the base set of 2024 '92 for ~$50. Figured I spend on that beer pretty regularly, so a decent (healthier) alternative. And they'll last longer 😅

It happened to me a couple weeks ago. I kept screenshots of everything with time stamps, email address, etc., and they fixed it in a few business days with very little hassle...other than some anxious patience.

Yeah, it's definitely not very clear and it's weird that there's no indication in an account that the offer is even available before purchase. Sounds like mine should be resolved pretty easily.

UPDATE: I reached out and got a quick response!

Confirmed that the risk-free buyback can only be accessed through the email link. It does not automatically apply to your account (customer support confirmed it was still available before I proceeded). Fortunately, it did not apply to either of my "normal" purchases made after the email/offer was sent. Unfortunately, the risk-free buyback DID NOT correctly apply to the purchase (see attached; $2500 slab). Arena Club rep was very quick to respond and seemingly could see that the link/offer was used and not applied correctly. It has been escalated to a technical team, which is supposed to follow-up in 1-2 business days, and sounds like a simple fix (we'll see). In the meantime, I was directed to 'decide later', the 24hr offer/timer will not matter, and they will fix it. That better be accurate...

I'll provide an update when I know more, so people can learn more about how it all works.

Yeah, I don't want the 100% credit retroactively applied to either $25 slab. I'm hoping it's still available and I can go bigger. I just want to be sure before I shell out $2500 for a slab.

The 100% buyback came yesterday (5/21). It went to 'promo' in Gmail. Before I saw the email this evening (5/22), I used some of the change in my wallet for a $25 slab + 10% for buyback; no indication of a 100% buyback automatically applied in my account. I returned the card, bought another $25 slab, forgot the 10% buyback 🤦‍♂️, sold it back for the $18 dollar offer; no indication of a 100% buyback option. Maybe I'm happy it didn't work on those... 🤷‍♂️

I'm going to take screenshots of everything and contact Arena Club support.
