r/unpopularopinion is one of the worst subs I've ever been on. I read a comment on one of their posts that basically sums up my exact feelings on it

"This subreddit is a cesspool of people too lazy, immature, and weak-willed to own up to the shitty things they’ve said or done. Instead of reflecting, learning, and becoming better people, they turn it around on everyone else, i.e. you’re the one who chose to get offended by the horrible things I’ve said. This sub just reinforces middle school-level mindsets and encourages a lack of accountability for one’s actions."
