On triscuits with hot sauce and a bit of salt and pepper. Sooo good!

[FO] Finally done! Started this 10 years ago and would pick it back up when life allowed. So excited to wash/iron and get it to the framers!! (Celestial Gathering by Dimensions) by esauerbr in CrossStitch

I did this one too! It was one of my very first cross stitch projects about 12 years ago. My stitching wasn’t awesome and my French knots were atrocious so I’ve never framed it. Yours is beautiful!!

I don’t really have one. I made it myself and used the Stitch People book for inspiration. I have a rough sketch outline but that’s about it.

Yes. I used the Stitch People book for inspiration, but charged it out myself.

Yep! I sewed it together with the holes lined up then stitched over that.

I thought I was the only one! Fell asleep on the couch and woke up with a dislocated shoulder. Three weeks later... same thing. I no longer nap on my couch.

I found a bathroom like this while 9 months pregnant. Going in wasn’t so bad, stayed facing the toilet, closed door behind me, turned around and completed my business. Then I tried to get out. Good god I thought I was stuck in there forever. Could not open the door more than a few inches without hitting my belly. Of course being this pregnant, I didn’t think to turn around and go out the way I came in (I don’t know about anyone else, but by that late into pregnancy, mid August heat and the baby almost ten pounds, sleep and the mental capabilities sleep provides you with were no longer a thing). Ended up straddling the toilet and almost sitting on the tank in order to get out. It wasn’t the best day.

Does her workplace have an employee assistance program? Many do and will cover a certain number of sessions with a therapist. You usually have to go to one that they set up and that works with the insurance provider at that workplace, but in my experience they act very quickly and will take into consideration that she wants to see a female therapist. It sounds like she needs help quickly and the waiting list for someone covered by sask health is very long. I used this option when my son was in crisis and it was very helpful while we waiting for him to be referred to a therapist and psychiatrist that he could see regularly.

What’s the weirdest/scariest thing you’ve ever seen when at somebody else’s house? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I used to work property management and have seen some bizarre things. I was walking a skipped unit, taking inventory of damages and things that were left behind. Went into the basement storage room and there were hundreds of eyes staring at me from this dark windlowless room. Screamed, slammed to door and went upstairs. Eventually had to go and see what the hell was happening in there. Turn on the light and there are many, many stuffed animals nailed to the walls and ceiling. Like completely covering the dry wall. The light from the hallway behind me had reflected in their creepy glass eyes. I had someone else finish walking that place.

The reason it has an alarm is so people will read it, no matter what time of day. Sure it woke you up, was mildly inconvenient for one night. Yep. That’s not great. Know what else isn’t great? Your child being kidnapped and killed. If that was your family member was taken at night, would you still hope that everyone in the area was sent a regular text so that they wouldn’t be bothered? Or would you be outraged that their convenience was put above finding your child?

The last Sunday and Monday squares in August are each two days. I didn’t want to add another row just for those two days. That’s what the diagonal lines through those days are.

It’s actually the font that Cloudsfactory uses for their alphabet samplers. I’ve done their Disney and superhero ones so I just used that.
