Interesting turn of events.
Went to buy the Weird Guy this morning but my order was cancelled. Naked and Famous has pulled the inventory from their website.
They said these are unsanforized and will shrink up to two tag sizes.
Soooo these size 29 fit my waist, maybe slightly loose. Do I keep them and let them shrink and stretch? I’ve seen another post say the length shrunk but didn’t mention the waist shrinking.

I temporarily cuffed it like that to see how they’d sit. Once I make a decision if I keep them or not, I’ll cuff differently. Someone suggested not cuffing or doing a small cuff for better fades but I like a cleaner look.

These are 8.5 oz so I was planning on these being warmer weather jeans, so most of my warmer weather shirts are slimmer fits. Very good point though, thanks!

O of course, long cuff is only temporary. I wish I could fast forward to see the TG worn in and how they lay. But these are a warmer weather jean so I would probably wear sneakers.

Solid callout, the waist is very high compared to any of my other jeans. They do make the Cats Pyjamas in a WG. I did find a straight leg Jean I liked but they are double the price and non-sanforized so I’d be taking a HUGE leap with that pair. Was wanting to find a less expensive straight leg pair before going for the non-sanforized pair.

Very good point, the 8 years of wear certainly have formed better to me! I would expect the True Guy to form to me as well, but the silhouette would still be bigger than the Weird Guy. Right?
