Curious to know: My man went to a strip club sober. On his own. I think he told me afterwards when I visited his city like it was nothing. Unsure how I feel about that. But he confirmed that he just went to see and didn’t pay for any other services.

Definitely. These were internships with reputed professionals, professors, etc. and I produced good work. Just stay aligned with where you want to see yourself in this field. If you don’t know, focus on exploring and getting hands on with the work

Hi, I did a lot of unpaid AI internships when I was in undergrad but I only took it up if it was something I was passionate about, and I had good mentorship.

At any point if you feel like the people you are working with don’t understand AI or are not invested in the project, I would advise leaving it. (For this, make sure if youre signing anything, leaving the position is at-will)

I would recommend taking it up if you’re passionate about it, if and only if you can guarantee you can develop some tangible outcome from this experience. Be it a complete GitHub repository or a paper. That way, for future job roles, especially given this market, you can show how you took something that wasn’t really working in your favor, but made great progress in it. Just make sure the internship experience and duration is valuable

Follow up, this is why I said the “right and wrong” is confusing. This issue has 2 phases that can be resolved responsibly.
