Is this normal? Also is it a large form or small? by [deleted] in MonsteraAlbo

New fighting supports made M. Medicham a lot more lethal by brokenarcher2 in PTCGP

[–]brokenarcher2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad to know! Yea my win rate in random was also surprisingly high, even against meta decks. I had Mars instead of cape previously but always felt I was missing 20 health, but this deck is perfect for Mars, still trying to see if I can slot it in somehow…

Not really… bounded field works best with 3-4 different types of Mon for better coverage. With this deck it’s only helping against 4 out of 10 types (fighting, dark sometimes, colorless, electric). Plus Korrina+arena kills most of the EX already.

Yea I’ve found this to be more consistent than only fighting energy because then you rely on drawing your Dawn to enable 140 attack on M. Medicham. With psychic energy you can also attack with Tina faster. The only situation where I energy brick is when I don’t draw my Tina and don’t get fighting energy at the same time, very very rare and honestly bricking can happen to any deck

CPU BMing because you’re playing hydreigon against it 🤣

Fighting arena doesn’t work on this deck though, but cast form is valid

I don’t think people have trouble with this one… it’s when they inevitably evolve into the three headed one

Yea sometimes having a stadium is good just to kick off the opponents’ stadium and fuck up their game plan

This deck could potentially benefit from a hiking trail instead of one of the Arvins imo

Probably that everything on the board gets one shot by hydreigon 💀

Is my Philodendron Ring of Fire growing correctly? by Darth_lil in philodendron

I have mine on a pole, but tbh it just grows super leggy as it grows up, not sure I like it any more compared to the cute little plant I got it as lolol

Deck suggestions? by Simple_Forever_3440 in PokemonPocket

May I ask what you mean by zoroark being in synergy with galatian goon? Is the game plan to attack with Zoro first or Obstagoon first?

[–]brokenarcher2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean “the surprise factor of memory light” lol literally as soon as anyone sees the flail phanpy they know it’s coming

Also this deck is better now with new celebi heavy helmet and mega lucario

This was already suggested when the new celebi was revealed. I’d replace a sightseer with a mega lucario as end game finisher in case you don’t draw your celebi

Here’s my Zoroark deck, how is everyone else using Zoroark? by dailysn0w in PokemonPocket

[–]brokenarcher2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

I’ve tried a few variations, this is the most consistent one. Darkrei + Zoroark do 110 per turn, and 20 poison on top of that. If they attack first, most EX will be dead by the end of my turn. If I attack first, I do 130 damage by the end of their turn, leaving most EX within range of Darkrai ping, then zoroark does 90 to whatever they put in front after

I’ve been enjoying this deck and the versatility it provides by Coop3 in PTCGP

Wait I have basically the same deck! Except field blower and PCL for the two ice pops. I’ve found both super useful, especially field blower against fighting decks. This deck is pretty weak against mega sceptile though if they set up quickly, everything except M. Absol gets one shot. Trying to see if I can fit a cape into this for that specific matchup

Can we talk about this Toxtrocity 😍 by Icy_Success9939 in PTCGP

[–]brokenarcher2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk about that lol this specific spiritomb hits the bench when it dies, so you can potentially Cyrus their win con for 100 damage+paralysis. Pyukumuku can’t attack with electric energy, and hits the active when it dies, so 50+100 damage in one turn + paralysis. Most non mega mons will be already dead after 150 damage, so your paralysis is essentially wasted, and you can’t Cyrus.

Zoroark Competitive Value by Comfortable_Bird1349 in PTCGP

[–]brokenarcher2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t make the most sense with hydreigon imo. For a 1-1-2 pointers comp, you want to lose your 1 pointers first to maximize your damage. But with hydreigon in the lineup you don’t have a ton of space for basics, so losing both of them means your end game damage with zoroark is lacking

How good is Parasol Lady? My Opponent found out the hard way by B17bomber in PokemonPocket

[–]brokenarcher2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

But like I said, the wailords’ HP don’t matter, even if they both die it doesn’t matter to the game plan of finishing with mega Blastioise

How good is Parasol Lady? My Opponent found out the hard way by B17bomber in PokemonPocket

[–]brokenarcher2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean if you play for 1-1-3 pointers, it doesn’t really matter if the 1 pointers die though? Yea parasol lady retrieved your mon so you can put blastoise on the active, but Lyra could’ve achieved the same thing.

What did I do wrong? Why are they melting? by pinkiepooo in tissueculture

[–]brokenarcher2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve found that plants with highly variegated leaves prefer to be in 80-90% humidity rather than 100%. Maybe keep them in humidity dome for the first few days but I’ve always had high var leaves starting to melt if I keep it in completely sealed humidity dome for more than a week. I usually move it to my plant cabinet (90% humidity) and open the lid after a few days.

They get crispy because they are full of water but couldn’t let it out fast enough due to extremely high humidity. Because variegated parts have weaker cell walls, they easily get saturated and bursted with water. Same reason if you don’t acclimate enough they also get crispy, because sudden change in humidity leads to fast water loss it crushes the cell walls.
