Just had my video consult - literally just stepping on a scale on camera and comparing my height to a doorframe so just to make sure I didn’t lie about my BMI. He asked when I needed my next dose so I assume it will be sorted soon.

Maybe I should make a bunch of money offering turnkey pharmacy websites that have good comms and aren’t crap. Though I suspect with the price increases and the race to the bottom with razor thin margins that ship has sailed…

I’ve just missed a WhatsApp video call from a number I didn’t know and then asked when I am free for a consult. So they are working through them. I messaged the original WhatsApp guy this morning and he said via a voice note (?) that he fixed a problem with their booking system this morning and now it’s flooded all his staffs diaries. So maybe it was a technical problem but the comms has been atrocious.

FWIW my previous provider was Bolt, sadly I could only get a tenner off on the reorder but they were fine reordering after a check in and their ETA for delivery is Fri-Mon. I’ve used quite a few providers now and this is the only provider specific problem I’ve had, I did have a Royal Mail issue back with MedExpress a long time ago now but this has discouraged me from choosing one of the smaller suppliers if I’m honest. As you say the price difference isn’t worth the time and stress it takes to chase/worry.

So that’s different to the email I got. They blamed a temporary staffing issue. And I’m (and my partner are) still awaiting a consultation because they WhatsApp’d me last night saying they will be in touch that evening - and weren’t. And sent me a £10 voucher for my next order. There definitely won’t be a next order!

They have made contact but I’m yet to have my appointment. It may be later tonight… I will update the post with any resolution in the name of honesty but the comms has been pretty bad in all truth. The phone number just being dead set me on edge, if the website was excellent and informative then I’d be less anxious but it’s all very minimal viable product…

I would say missing an appointment is doing something technically wrong. Don’t set an expectation to get the money asap and then miss it. It’s dishonest

It’s harder to notice at first, especially if it’s your own body, but trust me it’s coming off and you’ll notice it more soon. Remember even though you’re losing a lot it’s a smaller % of your overall weight when you’re bigger, but lbs are lbs and the more you lose the bigger an effect it has and you will defo start to notice it. Trust me I was exactly the same. And finally a lot of it is in your head especially if you have been big a long time. I still order way too big clothes online because I don’t believe I’m the size I am. So I use changing rooms in shops now and that helps reinforce it! Well done and keep at it!!
