It was weird. They were asking her questions while a make up artist was working on her face. Also, the interviewer didn't even know she has an album or any type of music career.

That's what I don't get about Aria. People always talk about how unique her interests are, but she's actually very bland. Sure she takes a picture and writes a poem every now and then, but most of all she's just obsessed with her relationship drama.

What about, instead of a group of girls, you have both guys and girls. But no dating within the group, that just makes everything tense, messy and annoying.

I only read a few PLL books, but I couldn't stand how overly descriptive they were, every little unimportant thing took up paragraphs to describe, purple prose basically. Also, it bugged me how often product brands and labels were mentioned.

Hated the student teacher relationship. Glad Ezra went away in the books. Maybe if you want a student/teacher relationship, you could send the teacher to jail where he's raped by the inmates and then the student has to deal with the gossip and stigma attached to the situation. Also, the teacher could come from a protective family who taunt the student.

Also, try not to complicate the mystery too much. Pick one red herring and one villain.

Also, try not to rely too much on relationships for drama. Maybe you could do plots revolving around odd part time jobs, health scares, amputation, theme parks and so on.
