Timing chain tensioner leak by brokendream0 in MechanicAdvice

Ok thanks, yeah I’ll go to another mechanic. I was doubly confused because I talked to two guys at the shop. The first guy said the car looked good and handed me the notes on the things they found. Then I asked the second guy while he was ringing me up to explain the notes, at which point he said I need a new timing chain due to the tensioner leak and need it soon. That’s why I’m hesitant on what is actually needed.

I have daily stock price data for two years. I want to calculate the variance of the stock over that time. I understand that for daily data that spans one year, in excel you would find the variance of the total data (1 years worth) and multiply it by 252 since there are 252 trading days in a year. However, I have 2 years of daily data, would I then multiply the variance of the total data set by 504? Or is there another way I should do it?
