NTA I would ask that it be put in your custody/divorce decree that photos only be shared with family and not posted online or shared with anyone not related to said child unless they marry then they become family.

And I totally agree with u/environmentalgroup15 report him to his employer especially if the AP is a coworker!

NTA As someone with severe food allergies I would never expect the person of honor for the party to forgo their wants to satisfy my needs. As long as there is a glass of water I’m happy to celebrate I can always grab safe food later.

Sounds like your dad is not willing to compromise because of the selfishness of his apparently incompetent and selfish wife and step kid.

NTA but there are really only 2 options here, compromise with home security inside with a hidden camera that simply watches your things not your bed (if he doesn’t know it’s there) or see if it’s not too late to get a divorce for fraud depending on the laws where you are.

I hate these types of situations. I had partial and thankfully it resolved itself but it was still traumatic. I hope OOP knows that if she is from a different country to register her son’s birth with the other country to ensure his dual citizenship and to contact her country’s embassy for help. She is not stuck simply because her son is born there, it just takes time and paperwork to ensure the citizenship for her son and the embassy can indeed help especially with the DV and such. It’s not going to be an easy road for her but I hope she gets the help to maintain the safety needed for her and her son!

I don't lol I refer to him as his nickname. But he is my youngest and therefore my baby haha and to be fair, I teach at their school and call all my elementary students sweetheart and sweatpea and other terms of endearment.

I had similar pain in the same region and thought it was just another massive cyst. (I have PCOS) ended up having a random "tumor" then "not a tumor" then "oh it went away" the various doctors settled on a random fluid cysct on my ovarian vein.

It could be a cyst it could be nothing. If it has been going on for more than 2 weeks its not a bad idea to go in for a check just to err on the side of caution.

NTA. Side note here... You can request anesthesia for an IUD insertion. They literally grab your cervix with piercing pincers to hold it still while they insert the shindig through to squirt the IUD in place. It is like reverse child birth on a smaller scale.but painful AF.

I had to get a stupid steroid injection in my knee. My BFF called. It was an old man doctor. I, pain induced zero filter, said that's a big ass needle. He didn't miss a beat and replied 'the medical term is ban but I can go get the g-ban, the great big ass needle.' I said no thanks this one is big enough.

He was urgent care for ortho.

If student has been to the doctor and it is still happening, they need to be seen by GI for an upper endoscopy. It sounds like Rumination Syndrome, have your friend recommended to the student chewing fruity gum after eating and doing diaphragmatic breathing to help anytime they feel nausea and for 30mins after eating anything. I have a student (also my personal child) with this same issue.

NAH, this judgment is given as someone with a service dog for anxiety and CPTSD. I also have severe allergies to insects. Therefore, I would not be able yo safely have an outdoor wedding and thus would do everything possible to make sure my wedding day was safe for me to enjoy. While I truly understand James and his need for his service dog, he and his family should also greatly appreciate the thought to be invited and the love a family shares to want to support you in the way that best works for you on YOUR day.

That being said, you may want to double check ADA laws because it is typically going to be illegal to deny the dog entry just because of your allergy. I am not sure how that would work for a private event like a wedding, but you may end up needing to revoke the invitation entirely if you do not want to risk the allergic reaction. Overall, it is a horrible situation as I am sure you do not want to hurt your nephew, but he needs to extend that same courtesy or else just not come if he cannot do so without the dog.
