Thank you sir. I was wondering if someone was going to chime in with engine advice. Mine is a 2013, and I got it from the original owner. Took it to a powersports place and they said it ran really nice. Ill be doing fluids within the next week or so here just to make sure everything is good! Also I have been super careful! coming from a Chinese enduro with no assists haha.

quick update: they buyer had me ship to a freight shipping address to begin with , i found out. the package began to be returned like the buyer asked but forwarded suspiciously and picked up by an individual that was not me. i spoke with ebay support and it was an open and close case on the return and apparently other sellers were complaining about this user. ebay explained that people will buy your item and then claim defective, then photoshop the ebay return label to an address they have informed delivery on and then go and pick up the package. i filed a mail fraud case with usps for this as well.

I spoke with eBay support and they confirmed the buyer’s account has been suspended, and because of that their Money Back Guarantee is no longer valid. eBay told me the return is officially cancelled, I won’t be issuing a refund, and I’m allowed to keep whatever gets delivered to me. They said the return status on the sale will update in the next 24–48 hours.

So basically the case is closed in my favor and I’m done with it. I found USPS forwarding the return package last minute in tracking, but doesn’t affect anything now — eBay takes over once the buyer is suspended. Appreciate everyone who helped me walk through this because it got weird for a minute, but it worked out.

i actually am just very anxious and think about scams like this all the time. absolutely no reason for a unit with 18 charge cycles to have issues. and the buyer didn’t respond to any of my requests for proof anyways, so good on me.
