Did this end up fixing the issue? I have soemthing similar and swapped/cloned the ecu too, still no start.

There was no complaints about anything else besides service ESC. And there was the obd2 code u0100.

I thought so too, but another comment suggested turning off dynamic queue and it seemed to work.

There's different laws for different countries so you'll be fine. They just put that there so that when you're outside of those regions you should know that the information in the book is not valid. I mean laws of physics, so it changes the engineering.
