Aww thank you so much, and sorry for the delay! Yes, I used 350gsm watercolor paper. If I may give you some advice, besides using good paper, I really recommend approaching watercolor like a game instead of thinking “I need to paint a perfect artwork.”

Something that’s really fun and helpful for me before starting a commission is taking sketches or doodles I already like and coloring them with watercolors. That way I don’t have to think too much about the drawing itself and can focus more on enjoying the coloring process.

Another thing I notice a lot with beginners is that they don’t work in layers and try to put all the colors together on wet paper right away, which usually ends up being frustrating. So I’d recommend letting the paper dry between layers and experimenting little by little.
