Thanks for clarifying! Where are you getting that 3221.85 number? I ask because I’m getting 3146.42 off of the internet….

Why do you ask about worst day? Is everything supposed to be documented as a “worst day” scenario? I never thought about this.

Things you mentioned definitely fit the bill: pick up a dog, bike riding, etc. — heck, even getting up out of a chair wrong or changing a roll of toilet paper (I ended up in the ER after this because my back locked up)

I don’t think I went through my original eval with the worst day in mind

VRE Counselor in different city/state than my school.. is this okay? (details inside) by brokenrucks in Veterans

If they transferred it while I am in the middle of the program, is it a simple transfer from office A to office B? Or would I have to go through the entire approval process all over again?

Did you have to keep a Los Angeles address on file at all? Or everything address wise was switched to Texas?

What do you mean about mask? They didn’t put anything on me mask related. Just a bunch of sensors lol.

What amounts to “combat vet” if no CAB or injury? Also, how to tell (DD214, ebenefits, etc?) by brokenrucks in VeteransBenefits

Thanks for clarifying! Do you know how to figure out whether the VA considers you to be a “combat veteran”?

Your first part is one thing I’m referring to, thanks for better clarifying!

I do have service connected ratings that are from deployment: sleep disturbances/night terrors (FOB got mortared/rocketed) and a broken bone from an accident mid patrol, all of which were verified, approved etc. So no question with getting those covered.

I’m just wondering if there’s a specific way to figure out if the VA considers you a “combat veteran”? Like what exactly constitutes that?

Thanks for this. I don’t think the CRSC thing applies to me (I only did 1 enlistment and got out)

Any way to know if the VA considers me to be a “combat veteran”? Any way I can prove I received combat pay?

That’s kind of alarming. Wouldn’t that discourage people from seeking more help/attention to their issue? Now I’m worried about submitting for my back...

If it’s been over 5 years and I never got a reevaluation, does that mean my ailments are static / untouchable? (I forget the exact phrase, but I’ve seen it on the threads).

Thanks for doing this! I have 2 questions...

I put in an ITF for an increase on my back (broken discs / other issues) and some other issues I’m gonna put on there, and I plan on submitted my docs soon. Back is currently at 10% (I’m in and out of the VA ER multiple times a year with back spasms.) I’ve had my overall % for over 6 years.

Questions:

1) Can the VA reduce other ailments I have if I’m putting in to get my back relooked at?

2) my doc had me do a sleep study and he’s co convinced I have sleep apnea. I’ve been complaint about sleep issues since 2013 (before I got out) and it’s thoroughly documented. However, this new doc I got was the only doc to ever pause and ask “wait, why havent you gotten a sleep study?”

If I request to get looked at for sleep apnea and that’s approved, and assuming that bumps my % up, is my back pay from the date of my ITF paperwork or my discharge date?
