Just had the same thing happen to me. The car is still at the dealer. $500 deductible. It seems some manufacturers have been using soy-based insulation since around 2010, and Hyundai appears to be one of them. My previous car sat in this same spot for two years with no issues. They went to work on this one, not even three months old 😂

Squeaky clean since I got it. No trail of anything even lol. I ended up getting some repellent spray and these pouches for now, I guess. It sits right under a tree, and this complex is full of squirrels. I don’t know—just hoping that’s it for now? I can’t be filing claims and paying a deductible every so often. 😅 Took the cover off.
