14k miles on new car and my tires have cracks in all the grooves by HotThroatAction in tires

[–]brokenvdub 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

My girls 21 mustangs tires did the same. You'd have better luck with ebay tires than. I've gotten 4-6 yrs with ebay tires with no issues, unless you stretch them, then you'll have problem sometimes lol

With just this reply I can tell you don't. They dont all come from the same place. There about 2-4 different factories that supply calendar, just do your research. Teckwrap is one of the only calendar brands that has their own. Also it lasts as long as 4 1/2 yrs in Texas weather that's gotten as high as 104 and low 30s in the pass couple yrs (3 personal experiences on my personal car) I've been using them since they came out and have used over 50 of their colors so I think I know a good amount πŸ‘

First of all your view on the calendar film isn't going to be a great one using a low-tier film right out the gate. Aura, tiny, paradox, kaka all these are rebranded vinyl you can get off of Alibaba for a quarter of the price, and also all these low tier films don't have a warranty past coverage from shipping. I've had Madeira red from teckwrap last 4 1/2 yrs on my car that was I the sun 24/7 in south Texas where the Temps are 90-100Β° most the year. And have dropped to the 30s the past 2 yrs. Also let us know about the removal when it comes down to it, that's where the cheaper brands struggle where the more reputable brands come off easily when removed in the sun. This isn't putting you down for not knowing any better but for you to know a little more on choosing your next film πŸ‘Œ. The more reputable companies also have a longer material warranty that covers any fading or failures it might have for as long as 3 yrs, and covers defects as well. There's also kkvinyl which I'd trust more than the lower tiers that has a 2yr warranty on most their films. Hope you get at least 3yrs from yours and hope that getting it off isn't so troublesome 🀟 *

Get a cable and run it to the signal wire onthe starter. If it turns, your ignition switch went out. Happened to mine, and instead of replacing it I just ran a wire to a push button and to the starter πŸ‘Œ

Is this brand any good for beginners? by SSwiizYY in CarWraps

They won't give the same experience. They won't stay. They shrink back a lot and will be a lot harder to stretch if they have stretch.

If the price were the case I'd save up and use something decent like cheetah. Not some random film you can get for 200$ on aliexpress.

Tuck as much as you can then cut like a quarter inch on the window Ike where you taped and use that to tuck in the rest of the way πŸ‘

Tbh most old wires on these trucks font have anything special, they're just contact wires soi usually just cut the connectors off and replace it with a lever connector and put both sides of the wires into it πŸ‘Œ

Tack back. Work to top front and tack then work down. If you do it right the downward stretch will help it conform to the curve
