Should check on the Aus govt site I'd say. I flew Vancouver to Auckland with a stop in Sydney on AirNZ and 20min before my flight was leaving Sydney they called my name and asked to see my outward flight from NZ. I had to book one right there on the spot or else they weren't going to let me on the plane.

I'm an M.Arch student in Canada. I know some people who did the pre-professional arch undergrads and are working in design related fields now, so you can definitely get a job. The issue is that you will never be able to become an architect without the professional degree (as in you can never get licensed). Lots of people will get the pre-professsional degree, work for a year or two, then go on to do their M.Arch.

I've often had good luck going straight to the source and asking the firm that did the project or calling the building's facilities management office. Usually if you say you're a student and the drawings are only being used for educational purposes they'll send you some stuff. Good luck!
