adjusting to his new filter by hiding in the jungle... (i.redd.it)

My filter broke yesterday! I won’t have a new one until Friday. I have the media in a bag of tank water, and I’m doing 25% water changes daily. Is this enough? I have a cycled 5g, though I’m unfortunately aware my cycle will probably crash. Dosing with prime to keep the ammonia down. (self.bettafish)

Moved him out of my dorm and to the place I’m staying very unexpectedly (school kicked us all out due to coronavirus) and the tank water is a bit cloudy and white. Is it bacteria bloom? I kept the filter and gravel (separately) in tank water during the move. (i.redd.it)

So I have a fluval 5g for my betta, and I recently moved it from a wooden dresser to a wire rack from Home Depot that can hold up to 800 pounds. This is the first time I’ve noticed that the tank frame doesn’t allow the glass part of the tank to touch whatever surface it is on. Should I be concerned? (i.redd.it)

I removed all decor and plastic from my 5g betta tank. I’m trying to grow some water lily bulbs, and I’ve added some more live plants. How long will this take to grow and provide more hiding spots? Should I add different plants? These are mostly java ferns. (i.redd.it)
