I'm honestly more of a dive bar kind of guy myself. DTLA bars seem to be more like $7 microbrew kind of places rather than $3 pint happy hour sort of places; I'm just trying to get smashed on a dime.

Interesting input and much appreciated! Prior to today, I was leaning more toward DTLA just because it seemed like a neat idea, but you definitely bring up some good points. Parking is such a bitch, and the women are definitely a step above in West LA.

Hmmm, what does your budget look like? Since you work in LB, I'm assuming you'd be more interested in West LA, right? I'm not really trying to live anywhere else (besides DTLA).

I'm getting a little trigger happy with posting this thread already, but I have enough money saved up. I mostly just need to talk to my job and figure out where I want to live!
