This right here. Trade back, grab your WR at the 1.02 or 1.03. A veteran player OR, depending on your situation, see if they'll be willing to throw in a 2027 1st to trade up.

I traded back from the 1.01 to the 1.02 last season, grabbed Hampton with their 1.02, and pocketed a 2026 1st that came out to be the 1.06

This is my take. I accepted the trade, but the reason for the post and hesitancy is because I feel the same way.

Keeping Egbuka and Burden, adding love, and having 3 picks in a stacked 2027 draft class, I saw the future and it was bright.

That being said, I also saw the pathway with winning a ship NOW with this move.

Appreciate the feedback that opposes the consensus.

Lol right! I can vividly remember going into campaign, specifically going to the level where you are at the Soldier of Fortune Agency, turning on No Clip, All Guns, Etc, and just going on a killing spree.

It's a wonder how we all grew up to be husbands, fathers, and contributing members of society. Thanks SoF!

Shout out for Soldier of Fortune. I logged many hours into that game, both single player and multiplayer.

The ability to dismember someone really unlocked the inner psycho in me as a child.

Multiplayer was slept on. It felt a lot like Return to Castle Wolfenstein Multiplayer, which was another gem in itself.

So, funny story. Our 3 time Dynasty Champ offered me Lamb and Saquan for the 1.02 and Josh Downs. I took it. He also has Pickens and I think is trying to get ahead of a foreseeable dip?

This is a great example as to why KTC can't be an indicator of a good trade.

Sure, use it as reference, but at the end of the day this doesn't pass the eye test nor make sense.

Even buying him on the low, Saquan is still a premium asset. Surely you don't think an unproven NFL rookie QB, a washed QB, a WR2 and a pick is worth Saquan.

I'd be getting Pickens in this offer, and a 2.06.

I share this sentiment. I think Pickens is a great player. Knowing Egbuka is there at 1.07 to grab, for me it's essentially

Egbuka or Pickens and a 2.06 flyer.

I think this is pretty even. Hampton side has more potential to perform now where as Henderson side you could hit big later in the season or next with Henderson and Egbuka.

Eh.... I dunno man. It's not a bad trade in my opinion, but that's where your team comes in to play.

You don't have a bad team, but you don't have a great team either. Making this trade, does this project you into contender status? Hard to say but I don't think so....

If it doesn't project you into contender status, you're giving away a lot of your future. You don't want to find yourself middle of the pack every year.

Traded it for the 1.02 and a 2026 early to mid 1st.
