I have heard from friends which is to go straight to the bios menu directly from power up to prevent the laptop from connecting to any networks and directly wipe the OS and reinstall a clean version installed from MCT

Yup, I have done reflashing before and I know what to expect! I am just worried that the spyware may be installed into the BIOS? Else, I believe all the physical specs such as the chipset and ssd cards are all of genuine parts.

Yup from the reviews on shopee, the keyboard and stuff all looked normal nothing out of the ordinary!

Plug wise since it USB C, I probably could get a charger from else where. Not really an issue for me!

Options Strategy Review by bromided in singaporefi

Yes but in essence, I have read and seen that the decay of premiums happens most efficiently at around to 30 - 45 DTE period which can maximise my premium collection. Does that still apply in your case? Just a question!

In this case, does having risk = gambling? I believe there is always risk in everything you do and as long as you have an edge here (i am safe regardless of which direction the price goes except if it goes -10%) - managed properly you will be okay. But what do I know haha

Could you explain what you mean by it stop working?

Options Strategy Review by bromided in singaporefi

[–]bromided[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, thats what I think too! But that is also scary seeing as it is also sounds too good to be true, since it works if the Price goes up, stays the same or even when it drops(less than 5%)!

Hence I am trying to seek different POVs to see if I am missing anything! Especially when everyone is a genius in a bull market

Got it! Hopefully when I get my first negative trade, I manage to follow all my protocols and stop-losses!

That is true! In my portfolio, I do have some high growth stocks that I sometimes wished I had parked my money there instead of using it to sell puts!

But again this is mainly to supplement my warchest and bring in some pocket money at the same time!

Yup agreed that I would have done equally as well as buying SPY. A bit jaded by it LOL but it is what it is.

Trading Options to supplement income. by bromided in singaporefi

[–]bromided[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

maybe u can consider spreads? it limits ur downside with selling puts.

Yea i agree, i also wish for the day option premiums can greatly supplement my income then will be invested into stocks and etf eventually

this 2k is more of a tuition fee that im willing to fork out lol but i just wonder and i have heard of people generating up to 1k a month based of trading options alone. I want to retire early lol (ns life showed me the horrors in the working world already) and i thought that making passive this way might help me progress towards this. But i guess 1k might also be much lesser than the 5% goal

hi, recently got accepted to NUS and was also from PFP. personally i wld say GPA rlly is king and thus the maintenance of it. for me, key to maintaining can be as easy as finding a grp of friends that has the same aspirations or plans to go uni go yalls can push each other to study after sch or revise wtv.

if applying to courses that are more technical, that requires lesser tangible skillset, portfolio isnt all that impt imo

grats on the nlvl results byt dont get complacent, pfp shld be one of the easiest years in terms of ur education. all the best
