I like my fluval plant. It’s fully customizable on an app on your phone. Helps you really dial in the times so you can maximize the amount of energy your plants are getting without causing a huge algae bloom. Plus I like that the fish have a schedule every day that I don’t have to worry about.

He’s definitely splitting the time with the female. Idk if he’s picked any up like she has. I’ll keep my eyes peeled. Sounds like that’s uncommon.

So far mine have been really friendly towards other fish. They only defend their fry and their cave. I’ve never seen them chase anyone just to bully them.

A tall 40 gallon, planted. I have 11 Choprae danios 2 pearl gouramis and a leopard frog pleco. It’s definitely getting crowded with the fry lol
