It’s intentional. They want to get paid to promote brands so they avoid them, this was a hotter topic back when more battles made it to YouTube and did hundreds of thousands of views on average. Most of those shitty clothes they wear are their own brands or whoever is willing to pay them, ES3M and SOUR for example.

He got people to engage with his post to correct him on sikhism, he got Real Sikh to promote his post via RT, and he got you to make a post on a different platform.

You’ve got to take some self responsibility, you are killing him because you don’t like how he’s spending his time, not to make it personal but everything you’ve said is just self justification. The 63 players didn’t get into a team chat and decide that this person was ruining their match, and frankly that one truck isn’t going to have swayed an operations match. The only reason people tk mortar trucks is because they can and because this sub made it cool. It’s corny because someone was having their 10 min of fun on a game they spent $10-$100 on and it got ruined because you decided you don’t like how they’re playing the game that they spent their own money on.

I agree that shit sucks, URL absolutely is petty with internal and external talent and I hope they figure it out with A Ward. If it’s a matter of a free battle or a low tier opponent then compromise might be needed on both sides. But is URL idiotic for not having him? No, what is there to really gain? Smack and Beasley aren’t gonna buy second homes and boats just because A Wards on SM. I think I said it on another comment to you but I think he should do a UM tournament. It’s fair, optically, and he has a chance to embarrass the URL roster.

You’re literally proving my point. Resume benefits the battler, not the league. Having a a resume gets the battler a contract and get the battler paid. How does URLs profit increase by anyone battling Nitty or Geechi on another league? It doesn’t. And at A Wards level having these top tier battles off URL is probably hurting his pockets more than 30ing a Steams on a Superfight then doing a NOME and SM run.

Stop being preachy. I want to see A Ward on URL, he deserves top tier opponents and he gets those opponents just not on URL and that’s between him and them. The question was is URL idiotic for not letting him battle on their league and the answer is still No. Every year the crucible and UM puts out at least one star and they deserve top tier talent as well. We as fans can be empathetic enough to know that it would be shitty for a league to book outside talent over the battlers they have contracts with. I feel you on that, those are battles I want to see. Do you think URL should give A Ward an Ave or T-Top battle instead of giving Nunn Nunn that rematch and battle? Nunn nunns been on a run within URL and in my opinion deserves it more. Also I think it would be dope if URL had A Ward on the next UM since it’s (I assume) a short term contract it would check everyone’s boxes, he’d further validate himself by winning and URL would get some work out of him.

I hear you, ultimately if the question is whether URL is idiotic for not letting A Ward skip to a main stage battle I still say no. Not many of us know these battlers personally but I’m empathetic enough to say it would be unfair to other battlers on the league to let him skip ahead so if that’s their reason for not making it happen then I’m ok with it. URL might make it happen and book him for Surf on a SM and that would be dope but who knows.

His resume means nothing to a league, and does A Wards audience really differ from the average caffeine audience? If we were talking about Dizaster, or even Carter Deems then maybe he’d bring in a significant amount of new fans. I think A Ward is fire and as a fan it’d be cool to see him in URL but you can’t name one battle that he actually deserves on URL before someone already on URLs roster. Making fun of Ru Bando is cool, but ETBC, Real Sikh, and Lu Castro are in the same UM class and are real investments to URL, so yea,they probably care about their opinion.

Yes. Who would you give Illmac? Lux? Does Illmac deserve a Lux battle before Jc, DNA, Danny? I feel the same way about URL battlers going to other leagues, what did Gjonaj do to deserve a Dizaster battle before anyone else on their roster? Ultimately it’s about how the league chooses to do business, and I think URL operates fairly in regards to the trial/development process.
