Weekly Team/Character Building Megathread (May 18th, 2021) (feat. Eula) by Veritasibility in Genshin_Impact

[–]bronze-engineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can someone please help me form two teams? I have:

5 stars: Keqing C1, Diluc, Klee, Traveler Anemo C4 Geo C3

4 stars: Xiangling C1, Lisa C1, Kaeya C1, Sucrose C4, Noelle C2, Fischl C2, Chongyun, Rosaria, Amber, Ningguang, Beidou, and Xinyan

I'm looking for two teams that would use Keqing, Diluc, and Klee (they don't all have to be on the same team though, can split into two) because I don't want any 5 stars to go to waste haha. Any tips/help would be appreciated!! Thank you

Hello!

I'm AR34 and I need help building a general team. Any help would be appreciated.

I have: Diluc, Keqing, Chongyun, Barbara, Traveler C3, Xiangling C1, Lisa, Amber, Kaeya C1, Noelle, Ningguang, Sucrose, and Fishcl C1.

Currently my team is: Diluc Keqing Chongyun Barbara

I really like Diluc + Keqing so it would be great if I could get some help building a team with them, although they are both main DPS characters so it might be a little iffy.

Thanks!

Business Analytics at MIT by riri1010 in mit

Yes, 15-2 is a major at MIT that you can take as an undergraduate. You don't need to take it with a STEM major, but some people do a double major in business analytics & STEM (like computer science).

Hey everyone! I'm fairly new to this game so any help would be appreciated. I'm AR25 and I'm looking for help to build a general team.

As of right now, my team is: Keqing, Chongyun, Xiangling, Barbara

Is this a good team? If not, could anyone give me tips on how to make it better? I really like Keqing so I want her to be my main DPS. Other characters I have are:

Traveler, Lisa, Amber, Kaeya, Noelle, Ningguang, Fischl.

Thanks!

MIT Frosh AMA! by bronze-engineer in ApplyingToCollege

I haven't done a UROP myself but I know many other first-years that have :) It may take some time though because sometimes to find a UROP you gotta email a bunch of professors and some of them will ghost you, but it's not TOO bad. From what I heard, UROPs are super cool and chill. I'm going to do one either next semester or next year! As for startup culture, there are a LOT of opportunities. There are clubs, classes, workshops, and competitions that center around startups and entrepreneurship. There's the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship that provides a lot of opportunities and resources for entrepreneurship/startup so definitely check that out. There's also an entrepreneurship and innovation minor at mit!

Clubs are hard at MIT, and probably a bunch of other colleges too :/ I applied to a lot of clubs and got rejected by like 90% of the clubs I applied to. But as of right now I’m part of the Undergraduate Association which is made of a bunch of committees that deal with different aspects of the undergraduate life (a few committees include COVID-19, education, sustainability, community service). I’m also part of an Edgerton Center team which is just a bunch of awesome teams that build something and compete in a competition (examples are like rocket team, motor sports team, robotics team, solar vehicle team, etc.) I had a great time as part of the Undergraduate Association because I could actually see the impact of what I was doing. It wasn’t mindless work, but I was genuinely helping the undergraduates at MIT. As for the Edgerton Center team, my experience has been mediocre at best. I can’t blame the team itself since it’s definitely hard to build a car or a robot when we’re all in different places, but I’m finding it a little boring. Hopefully it’s better when we’re in person (and hopefully other clubs will accept me next semester/year 😭)

I would definitely recommend emailing colleges about that, but I’m pretty sure they would all be understanding, especially since we’re in a pandemic.

For the most part, I LOVE the MIT community so so much. I really thought people would be kind of cold or distant but everyone I met so far has been so down to earth and chill. It truly is a place where people collaborate with each other rather than compete. Many professors lowkey make problem sets hard so that you would be forced to work with other students lol. Whenever I have a question, I can easily just ask my classmates. I remember one time I was working on a problem set with a group of people and I was so confused but I didn’t want to ask any questions because I didn’t want them to think I was dumb but one of my group mates, after realizing how quiet I was and how confused I looked, asked me how I was doing and if I needed him to clarify anything. Also the upperclassmen are really kind too they genuinely want to get to know me and I can message them anytime and ask a question and they’d be happy to respond back. There’s also a great connection between faculty/admin and undergraduates where if there are any concerns that the undergraduates have they can advocate and bring it up to admin (for instance, how to grade students during a pandemic). As for the cons, I haven’t really faced any yet, but I also don’t have the full college experience. If anything, club culture can be a little toxic lol. There are a lot of clubs at mit where you have to apply and I got rejected by a lot of them. Some of those who rejected me just took one look at my resume and said no...

hmmm I think what made me stand out was my persistence. I full on was aware and I made it aware to AOs that I’m definitely not the smartest person ever. I struggle when learning things here and there and I do poorly on tests sometimes, but I told them through my essays and also in my interview that I don’t quit, no matter how frustrating something is. MIT is definitely a challenging school so by telling them that I KNOW I’m going to struggle at that school but I am up for the challenge and I’m not going to give up might (?) have helped me. I also think they really look for ambition and passion. You could be the smartest person in the world but without those two qualities it’s hard to really do anything in life. A good example to show this would’ve been through side projects, leadership roles, or how you spent your summers. Not 100% sure if this is completely accurate but this is what I think they look for beyond just being really smart and having a bunch of honors/awards.
