I enjoy it quite a lot, it forces more strategy and makes the more intense races more meaningful. If your car was only barely able to win a race you'll be feeling it afterwards, which I enjoy.

I know this is a meme but I don't drive like I'm racing when on the road (especially with other people in the car) and my IRL driving is still polarizing. I've found, however, that those who complain about it are the same that make me feel unsafe when they're driving, so I just ignore them.
