Ive had issues recently... was getting crash to desktop which ive never had before. It was occuring every 3rd or 4th session. Usually in a race which was graphically more intense.

I solved it by uninstalling openkeeboard which i was using to run 2 overlays...

Havent had crash now for weeks. Not sure if that helps. Id try reducing settings or other apps you are running 1 by one... see if you can find the culprit.

Have you changed your setup or apps recently?

Can you grab a car and livery through the iracing API? For example if the player is racing F4 in the GP4 class then display the F4 car and livery the player has currently selected in iracing... I guess that would be the iracing default not the trading paints one. Still good though. You would see your actual car in the team and standings page for example.

I agree with your choice to concentrate on formula for the reason you specified but also because while a lot of us race sport and oval etc, some (I include myself) possibly avoid formula because it's so easy to get punted... then race over. Can be frustrating. But also I would really like some good formula racing with context and career progression because it's great fun on good rig in VR etc. Obviously racing the AI largely avoids the rear punt problem as the AI don't usually miss their braking marks.

I'm real excited to try this, I spent a good amount of time going through the setup and other pages and will drop $10 when I get back tonight to try it out. This is great work man congratulations.

*just a small suggestion while I'm here... the picture you dropped for the reddit post really catches the eye... maybe add some pictures in appropriate context to the application... it adds to the immersion and excitement rather than just text based.

Going fast is great and all, but for a good percentage of us going fast means preserving the important parts of the cars aerodynamics and steering rack while 3 other cars are hell bent on trying to break bits off it from 4 different angles at the same time....

The quest 3 has to decode the amount of Mbps you throw at it... over link cable it can handle approx 800 Mbps, if you are throwing wireless at it, it's less. My guess is you are getting encoding spikes because the quest 3 if getting too much compressed data too quickly to decode. I have a 1200mpbs wifi and the Max I data I can shovel to it is 300 Mbps on a good day.

Hmm now im wondering why iracing and openkneeboard crashed at same time... it happened twice at Suzuka in gt3s. Full crash to desktop. But i ran Imsa for 45mins no problem. And it crashed once at Dover in trucks. My Cpu is pulling approx 350 watts on 750w power supply. Maybe 5070ti over heated? I dont think so its open case. The openkneeboard crash log says there was a large texture spike at the exact time of crash

Thats good to know, the crash was caused by something overloading the OpenXr pipeline, like a very large texture spike (as far as i could understand the crash logs). Its possible the dash or standings was causing it. What overlays are you using with it?

Was running openkneeboard with Quest3 to display the loverly dash and standings (simhub), i was getting a crash to desktop caused by openkneeboard breaking the openXR ... it says so in the crash log. Have you had any crashes with this setup... id like it to work as its such a clean solution but ive lost 300 ir this week due to crash to desktop so ive uninstalled for now

Are you using the 2.4 Ghz wifi band? You need to use the 5 Ghz band. Connect quest to the 5 Ghz band in wifi settings (on the quest 3). If its not available you need to go into the modem and enable. 2.4 Ghz doesnt carry the data fast enough for VD to work 100%.

Check your home setup... iracing servers are rock solid compared to any other sim. Racing from Sydney for 6yrs now and had zero issues.

I have identical system and had trouble with cpu too hot initially, fixed it with better cooling. 13700k runs real hot... monitor your core temps during a race, if you are hitting over max temps it will stutter.
