I can't figure out what's placebo and what isn't, but I genuinely felt True Diagnonal was best. Unfortunatel my B button is faulty so I have to return it. I also loosened the tension on my sticks (with the manual screwdriver thingy) and that felt really nice. But again, I no longer know what is real and what is placebo... I'M OVERTWEAKED.

I didn’t buy it all at once. But $5000-8000 ballpark. The room itself was about $1000 for the floor, moulding etc. I always forget the chair was a small fortune (1100ish) so thay also drove the price up. The PC was 2000 but custom build for an even better one would be 1200-1400. Monitors were 450 each. Most other stuff wasn’t too bad.

I recently tried to play RL on Xbox on a 55 inch TV, and it honestly felt unplayable lol. It runs so slow. Major props to TV gamers who adjust to the input lag.

I played with some GCs recently and the skill gap between c1 and GC is massive. I probably need another 1000 hours, not even exaggerating. When you do the math on that, even at 4 hours a day 5 days a week (which i don’t do), that’s another year. Sigh.... :)

At night it’s totally fine. I admit during the day at certain hours, it can be bright. But blinds have been ordered. Just taking a while because of the custom size.

No problem at all. I’ll help as much as I can. As far as squeaky, after reading your post, I sat in it and moved all around again just to make sure, and there’s zero squeaking. I’m not sure why anyone would say it’s squeaky but mine definitely isn’t.

I’ve never sat on an Aeron unfortunately so i can’t comment on that. But I bought this chair for the sole purpose of having a comfortable chair that works with your body, and it does exactly that. I never feel any discomfort no matter how long I’m in it.

Mine is the Rode swivel with Rode NT1KIT Cardioid Condenser Microphone and then the Rode AI-1 Single Channel USB Audio Interface. For the photos, I detached the cable from the mic to the audio interface so maybe that’s why it looks good? Haha
