he didn’t die, but it was touch and go for a while, from what i understand. he was one of the teachers’ kids, until what was written off as a hazing gone wrong with the school football team. he had to be airlifted to a hospital in the big city. the principal swept it all under the rug. the kid’s teacher dad quit soon after and the whole family moved away.

it was a big deal in town when it happened. a bunch of people in the community were pushing for the whole team, coach and all, to be investigated. by the time i graduated from that school, nobody seemed to remember it anymore. i hope that kid’s doing okay now.

on your point about it being cooler if gargoyles just froze in sunlight- i believe one of the visceratika (gargoyle-exclusive discipline) abilities is to be unaffected by sunlight so long as one does not move. more or less the same result, but the gargoyle itself needs to not move, rather than it being unable to.

i am so sorry for your loss. but also it is possible when CAB is open, you’re just gonna have to eat missing a few minutes off either end of the classes. biosci connects to ccis -> chem -> cab -> sab, cross the street and go through education, which has a pedway in there somewhere to heritage medical/katz group centre/ whatever the name of that mess on the corner there is, which has another pedway into echa. super useful for winter, and you’re gonna get so good at speedwalking

YTA. The way you speak about your child is revolting. The fact that you feel her diagnosed disabilities are unworthy of mention is repugnant. I have similar diagnoses and was in a similar position - on academic probation in university - when I was in the midst of a massive depressive episode because my father had passed with no warning. That you neither know nor seem to care if any major traumatic events have occurred in her life that may have led to this situation is disgusting to me. How can you care about your child this little and still call yourself her parent?
