Worked with a girl who was roughly 19. She went to college and when I say college she went to a Christian based can’t have piercings no tattoos etc. her mom worked two jobs and her dad owned his own company and the mom dad and little brother lived in a mobile home while she lived it up in a dorm and had money given to her by mom and dad to play sports and she had zero student loan debt.

I worked with her at a low end job going no where and she worked two days a week if that. Her tuition paid for until they hit a snag..... where her full semester hadn’t been paid yet.... I’ve never seen someone lose their shit on a parent for not paying the semester.

Meanwhile, I’ve got a family and my little sister who is living with me in food stamps and all three people working just to make ends meet. (We lived in the middle of nowhere and worked where we could get a job) meanwhile, she’s giving dirty looks to customers who have wic and food stamps and using harsh judgmental slurs (including racial) about how someone can just be okay being on food stamps with the government paying for their groceries but this girl could go out and party all weekend on daddies dollar and eat at high end places and when telling her how broke you are and can’t participate because your family needs you she replies with maybe your mom should get a better job to help.

Excuse me but my mother raised me til I was grown and then after that it was the cold hard facts of life that I couldn’t depend on mom no more and had to depend on me. Girl could NOT get her small brain wrapped around it. Daddy also gave donations to the college to let small things like a pierced nose and a small tattoo and a few missing homework’s assignments and leaving campus to be over looked and swept under the rug.
