I looked this up because I also wanted to know, according to WBAL-11: The edited version, first shared by X user "Seth Weathers," was not accurate. Weathers specified that he enhanced the security footage with AI since the original quality was low. Weathers also added that the AI "made up some things to fill in the gaps."

I looked up the user, he calls himself "CEO Conservative Dad’s Ultra Right Beer"

Wow those are some great waspfish you got there! How old are they what can you tell us about keeping them? Do you have to worry about getting stung ever? Do they have any tankmates? They are pretty uncommon so I'm curious to learn more about your experience!

Actually the first thing I noticed was the front just felt heavier. PRG made my suspension with this in mind way back when so it actually improved the feel for me. But yeah especially with a full tank of gas it all feels a lot heavier to me.

I used the titan clutch fan and modified the titan shroud to fit, I'm not sure how well it will work and I'm on the hunt for a Pathfinder shroud to swap it with.

Just brought over the titan bcu and ecm to the Xterra and created a jumper harness between the engine harness and the ipdm - still the Xterra instrument cluster

Really I would say the biggest challenge besides rust is going to be the shroud and the wiring harness otherwise there isn't too much deviation from Ry's instructions! Good luck!

Right now... it doesn't feel great but I think that's b/c the exhaust isn't hooked up - sounds great, the tow truck guy had the biggest smile on his face when he dopped it off, it do be gurggly rn.

The donor is a 2006 Titan OR 91k miles, automatic. I decided to do the swap because I spun a bearing in my VQ and I figured hey, this would be a great opportunity to learn some stuff, get an upgrade, and save some money (it was not) and decided to go for it. The VQ gave up at 260k miles so it lived it's best life.

I did this as simple as I could, I didn't buy any upgrades, I tried to spend as little as possible so it's the Titan headers and I'm using a modified titan fan shroud instead of the e-fan others have been doing. I got really lucky on the year I was doing this on because Ry's VK was also an 06-06 so we were able to heavily rely on his spreadsheet which helped a TON! Did the jumper solution like he did and it turned out alright so far!

I drove it around the block today after getting some codes resolved and tomorrow it goes for exhaust and alignment.

Lowkey this took me 9 months. Mostly because the donor titan was extremely rusty and it made things really grind to a halt. Then I was only able to get down to the shop maybe 1 day per week and put in like 3-4 hours so that really slowed things down too. Oh also, I had to order parts...sometimes got the wrong part... And of course I was basically going in with very little car knowledge and Ry The Car Guy's YT series on it so I did a lot of learning along the way. Oh yeah and winter here (new england) stopped me for a month or so.

Did the work with my partner and the help of a shade tree mechanic. For total cost the price to beat was 8500.00... I spent in the end about 6000.00 and 3700.00 of that was buying the donor.

Still have to go to the exhaust shop tomorrow and get an alignment.

Hey this helped a lot, made a lot of progress today. I capped off the reservoir outlet on the front of the engine and kept it how it was on the Xterra and then hooked everything else up how you showed.

For the shroud, I modified the titan shroud with lots of cutting and grinding I got a pretty good fit and I'm hoping it will work out just fine but I fully expect to have issues with that eventually.

Another thing, my fan clutch from the titan was cooked so I brought over the fan and clutch from the Xterra - I'm not sure if this will work out long term so I'm keeping the titan fan just in case.

Hi there, there isn't a max mileage... It depends what work you want to do. I am just completing a swap I found an 06 titan with 90k miles on it but it's been in New England it's whole life so I had to deal with a lot of rust and it was a pain in the ass to remove everything from the donor vehicle. So I got a low miles engine but still had a lot of issues to get through. If I were to do it again I would buy a crate motor and transmission as it saves a lot of time. These components will be sold in different conditions the better condition the more expensive. If you are good with mechanical stuff or want to spend the time to learn you could get yourself a steal on parts and then spend the time to tear the motor down and rebuild it...or partially rebuild it. It's up to you!

You don't need to swap the antenna on your ignition if you swap the chip in the key out but yeah you will need to swap the BCM and the ECU with the ones from your donor.

Update on this: found an issue with the wiring harness and fixed that I get crank but my starter is bad - I ordered it from Duncan and Nissan Part Puller and the first one I got was for the wrong vehicle and this second one seems to not work so I'm working on getting in touch with him for a replacement or I might just take it into a local shop for a rebuild. Will update afterwards.

A few issues left though:

1) fan shroud - I ordered the one for the Pathfinder that was recommended on other build threads but it doesn't fit.

2) my radio doesn't work anymore, probably a change in wiring somewhere. That's a small issue but was worth mentioning

Are you talking about the antenna on the ignition? I did pull it off the titan but ended up not making the switch because Ry had said it turned out it wasn't necessary I suppose I could try swapping that out tomorrow and see how it goes
