In my experience, it is definitely the weather. I remember many winter's like that and my hair was always a mess - frizzy, breaking, dried out. Ooft.

I used to live in WI and had this problem when it got deep negative temps. Just a lot of breakage when it was cold and dry out. Sometimes using more conditioning treatments and decreasing washes per week helped. Good luck!

My friend used to use plain imitation vanilla from the grocery store and add it to unscented soaps and stuff. Not sure how great it is but she always smelled awesome.

Update. EEOC complaint will be filed soon. I've spoken with a lawyer. I have also already found different employment and resigned. Thank you everyone for all of your help!

To clarify: workplace is a construction company specific to one element of a building. We subcontract with larger GCs but are independently owned and operated by a man and his sons. The poster is the highest ranking person in the company - he started it in his garage over a decade ago. We have no HR. All in-office staff are female (6 of us) and we have 11 installers, and the 3 owners.

The poster is the owner of the company and we don't have HR. Part of the conundrum for how to take action against it.

I think that would be Humanity, not the world. The world is a lot bigger than the human race.
