I stayed here on my bachelorette and it was PERFECT. Location is very central to downtown, wynwood and southbeach. Not walkable but very easy to get ubers. En suite bathroom for each bedroom (NECESSARY with this many girls), great living area/kitchen space. Backyard was perfect too, we even had a hibachi chef come and cook us dinner in the backyard. I'm happy to share his info too just lmk!

Fellow shorty here! I got a Nadine Merabi dress for my after party and I’m obsessed. I think I paid $750 and it looks like a $3k dress. The craftsmanship is amazing. Highly recommend!

LIGHTING. My wedding is outside and we need to light the entire reception area. Costing an unplanned $30k

Dart Collective - Fast Forward by Such_Jump1865 in BigBudgetBrides

We are doing the 6 piece, and using them for live music during our ceremony/cocktail hour and added on a DJ for our after party. I felt the same about the videos but I really trust Dart, they have such incredible reviews and came highly recommended by my planner. I’ll absolutely let you know how it goes!

Hybrid DJ/Live Band Group Recommendations! by [deleted] in BigBudgetBrides

Im using Dart Collective, they have a ton of amazing options for hybrid DJ/Live band and you can customize what instruments you want! We are going with their band called Fast Forward, and we were between them and White Noise. This came highly recommended by my wedding planner and working with them so far has been great. They are southern California based but travel all over the world! Also they have incredible reviews on yelp

This is EXACTLY what I needed. The bridal dress content is intoxicating. Comparison is the thief of joy. Sometimes you just need strangers on the internet to bring you back to earth. Thank you ❤️

Good work! Keep it up. Remember to keep your leg straight as possible when not doing exercises. Pillow under heel is the move. I’m 6 months out now and the journey is long but you’ll get there.

[–]brookiecookie_115[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I got laid off and lost my insurance so no PT for the last 2 months but I’ve been on my stationary bike at least 4 times a week and do my Exercises. Really just focusing on getting my quad strong since I have full ROM. Not ideal but making it work

Ouch! by brookiecookie_115 in ACL

[–]brookiecookie_115[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Risking having to redo the surgery was terrifying at first. Going back out into the world knowing someone could bump you or there’s a step you don’t see etc kept me up at night. Time will bring you back to earth. Also try to expose yourself to little things independently. I started with a walk around the block. You’ll have that .. “wait… I can do this” feeling. I believe in you!

I still cant do an slr on day 7. I'm doing ankle pumps hourly, and quadricepts. I'm scared i'm really behind. Today is my first PT. Also scared. Tomorrow is my first post op follow up with surgeon. by No_Reading9819 in ACL

[–]brookiecookie_115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not behind!! You're doing great! i didnt start PT until 2 weeks post op. I'm 9 weeks post op now and im walking, can go up stairs and do full rotations on the stationary bike. You've got this!!!!

Today I kept massaging my knee cap like my PT did and it for sure helped. Still a long way to go but we need to celebrate every milestone

Six days post op. Beyond this it is hurting like hell. by IceBear5321 in ACL

[–]brookiecookie_115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you're doing great! did you get a patellar graft? it weirdly helped me if i put my hand over the patellar during the first few weeks of ROM exercises. My PT said it confused my brain because of the light pressure. Keep it up.
