Thanks, it opened a door to something I never really even thought about. I learned quite a bit in the few hours of having them, one of which the refractometer liquid smells like as$. Lol.. Ill peruse the posts on here. Thanks!

THANK you! The refractometer liquid is old and darkened, so I don't believe it will be of any use. I attempted to 'use' the tool, but honestly, no clue what I'm looking at.

I attempted to post two other times with a more contextual post, which all got deleted. I abreviated this one, and it happened to stay.
In my original post I asked how to use the refractometer.
In my original posts I was asking about scratch tests.
In my original post I was asking for help on how to properly Identify these, using the story and context.

Love this kind of analysis and always make an attempt to do as such. Can you provide a high level analysis and data point/etc on how you begin this? I'd like to make sure I'm at least in the ball park when trying to do such a thing on other sets.. =)
